I've been watching your YouTube channel.
Thank you for your efforts. I hope I can share your vids with my wife when she's ready.
I've found them to be helpful. I also find your mild mannered way of speaking keeps my rage against WT in check...

this is my third year since i signed up on jwn and i wanted to do something a bit different--a slight unmasking of sorts and greet everyone face to face.
even with the help of a few notes, this is rambling, raw, and by no means the best personal experience video out there.

i am sure that there are many looking at the posts on this forum that have not signed up to post.
i know i looked for a long time before i ever signed up to post.
we would love to hear your comments and perspective about the zone meeting this past weekend or any other thing you might like to get off your chest.
This forum has been so helpful.
Everyday I see PROOF that leaving WATCHTOWER was the right choice and now I can enjoy life.
I wonder how many lurkers are JW's currently attending my past congs?
the meeting this week is mind-blowing in the way it fuels the crippling "persecution complex" of witnesses!.
paragraph 1 set the theme with this gem:.
does it shock you that you can expect to face many tribulations before you gain the prize of everlasting life?
It must drive them insane when they can't figure out how those that leave, really aren't having many significant tribulations or issues at all.
The biggest issue I faced was the crazy personalities within the local congregations.
Now I live a trouble free and peaceful life.
as a child, i was made to believe that i loved my mom and family and close friends but that i loved no one more than jehovah god.
did you ever really love him?.
.
Is asking for THE proof of an existance of God too much before you dedicate your life to "him".
Think how embarrassing it would be it someone asked you for that proof after you had radically altered your life's persuits for decades and you couldn't provide it...
Oh, wait..
These replies are excellent!
Feels good to live a life without unreasonable fear.
Looking forward to more good posts.
i'm sure we've all heard things like; " we need to develop a close personal relationship with jehovah.
we can ask him to help us through difficult times, he should be our closest friend.
throw your burden on j. or the ol' jehovah will provide.
To me, having the solid "evidence" would be proof enough for me.
"Of course they are the true religion, they all have close personal relationships with a proven god"...

Hmmm.
I'm enjoying the replies so far.
I knew someone would mention Smurfs!
Just putting together a mental list:
Jehovah
Jesus
elders
"the back room"
CO
Armageddon
persecution
getting DF'd
apostates
Satan
the demons
demon possessed items
That's quite a bit, but I'm sure there is much, much more.
so i am being hounded by the elders who are staring to get suspicious about our "slackening off in the truth".
rather than being railroaded or pushed into a defensive or argumentative situation, i am keeping the following comment up my sleeve:.
"jehovah is really blessing our family life.
Part of me wants to think it would fun to be in your spot.
Totally aware, messing with people who don't even notice and planning some epic exit.
No, nevermind...
Get out!!
