  I'm not usually quick to take offence about what others say or do but there are certainly plenty of people who are.

  Strictly speaking, it's not a political issue in that people from all political viewpoints and opinions can be quick to take offence. However, an honest look at which type of people demand safe spaces at university, at which kind of people demand others to be sacked for giving their opinions, etc., will likely inform you that a majority is of the activist left.

  E.G. you don't get many people trying to get trans people sacked for comments - it's typically the reverse. Some people say trans women aren't women, and then left-wing activists try to get them sacked or visited by the police.

  UK 6pm cerfew for all man?!

  here in the uk, we've had a recent missing persons case which has turned into a potential murder inquiry.. sarah everard (33), disappeared on wed 3 march in london.

  human remains were subsequently found in a wood near ashford, kent, and a met police officer has been arrested on suspicion of murder.. horrible events, and the issue of women feeling unsafe on the streets certainly needs discussing.. but surely not what baroness jones suggested: tabling an amendment for a 6pm curfew for all men.

  wtf???.

  Here in the UK, we've had a recent missing persons case which has turned into a potential murder inquiry.

  Sarah Everard (33), disappeared on Wed 3 March in London. Human remains were subsequently found in a wood near Ashford, Kent, and a Met Police Officer has been arrested on suspicion of murder.

  Horrible events, and the issue of women feeling unsafe on the streets certainly needs discussing.

  But surely not what Baroness Jones suggested: tabling an amendment for a 6pm curfew for all men. WTF???

  If you were trying to explain why we say that what evidence would you provide? - I personally probably wouldn't get bogged down arguing about WT doctrine.

  One path I'd go down would be the WT's history on non-reporting of child abuse. The Australian Royal Commission is a real eye-opener.

  Another path would be to say that the WT's claim of having 'the truth' is a very bold thing to declare, and such a claim deserves to be properly investigated, in the same way a person in court is cross-examined by a lawyer.

  Or I suppose I could just show them the Bethel masturbation video, lol.

  chris stuckmann is a youtube reviewer of films and aspiring film maker himself.. he has over a million subscribers to his channel.

  in my ignorance, i've always been a bit jealous of successful youtubers, including stuckmann - y'know, 'they make loads of money, life must be great for them.'.

  and then i found out chris stuckmann used to be a jw, was born into it, and walked away from it.. he says in this video that even now, his dad will probably never speak to him again for telling all about his past.. well, all the best, chris stuckmann!.

  i just watched the oprah interview.

  i know that many view them with little interest as just entitled wastes of space and i get that.. however, the description of how they were "trapped" and silenced and forced into perpetuating the system with little or no personal freedom rang bells for me.

  they are effectively shunned, estranged and disparaged by their family and cut off from support.

  Only approx 2,554,660 have died of Covid as of today WORLD WIDE.(Some say many Covid Deaths were not Covid related) - yes, you're right to question this particular stat.

  In the Uk, 'COVID deaths' are recorded like this: if someone dies 28 days from a positive test, the death is included in the official total.

  No, I'm not joking.

  It is obvious that this stat is very dodgy, seemingly revised upwards to exaggerate the lethality of the virus and scare the public.

  Of course, COVID has killed and harmed people but these things need properly investigating.

  (And shame on any scientists who have fiddled the death statistics - these people are actually enemies of science.)
