first - some facts about sociopaths.

1 out of 100 people are sociopathic and they are rational people.

they are not deluded.. 2. they display a lack of conscience, an inability to feel remorse, and above average intelligence .

Anyone else have a sociopath story? - yeah, me, I think.
I'm probably a sociopath, or at least have some sociopathic tendencies.
I don't have a relationship with my dad anymore because of my own choice, and I have little relationship with the rest of my family who's still alive.
The last time I saw a family member face-to-face was in January 2018 - that's over four years ago.
The only member of my family I really love (and miss) is my mum. She died in 2004, after being paralysed neck-down from a stroke she suffered in 1997.
I'm more than comfortable with my own company. Weird, huh?

a recurring theme in this loyd deal is the we're all imperfect-----------excuse!.

the "we're all imperfect" phrase, is an over used watchtower membership cliche, embedded in the minds of jws and anyone that leaves.

in the real world, there is no such thing as "we are all imperfect".

Most ex-JWs don't cheat on their partner with prostitutes.
^^^ It really is that simple.

New Book - The Reluctant Prostate

hey everyone, i'm writing a new book.. it's the entirely fictional story about a character called "roy devons", an obese clown who was kicked out of clown college because he couldn't stop touching himself.

he launches his own youtube channel where he tells the world how wrong and unfunny clowns really are.

the world already knows this, and never really had much todo with clowns anyway, although some other ex-clowns felt like they needed to be reminded regularly of their past lives.. he hits upon the idea of asking for donations to support efforts to convince ex-clowns to get their prostates checked.

Where do we go from here, the Lloyd-gate?

the problem is where do we go from here?

lloyd is not going to go away , he has too much to loose(money) neither will his followers go as we have seen the last few days there was hardly a drop to his membership .so what's next?

we will be branded in the same colours and because of him we won't be taken seriously anymore.

where do we go here as activists - I think activists should perhaps concentrate on the big issues.
Things like - sex abuse and blood.
Of course, most ex-JWs aren't activists. They're just ordinary people who've escaped a cult.
Apart from the JW cult, us ex-JWs have nothing in common.

Here's another thing that I don't think anyone has commented on ...
First, let's see if I've got things right: Lloyd cheated on his wife with prostitutes for four years, about once every two or three weeks, I remember him saying.
Let's do the math - every year that works out to about 25 payments for sex. Then multiply that by four and Lloyd could possibly have done this 100 times or more.
So, does Lloyd know he never picked up HIV or any other STDs? Has he had blood tests? I assume he had been having sex with his wife during the four years he cheated on her, so has his wife had a thorough health check up?
Edited to add: it appears I got my calculations wrong - Lloyd said 'every three months, for about four years'. But my point about health checks for him and his wife still definitely stands.

I'm still amazed that is response about the 14 year old isn't to immediately outright deny it - exactly.
I KNOW I have never groomed 14 year olds. If accused, the first thing I'd be saying is 'bullshit!'

Not once in that statement has he expressed remorse to his wife and kids - yes, this is perhaps the biggest point.
At one point he gets 'emotional' reading a statement and starts to break down ... but when he removes his hands form his eyes there are no tears running down his cheeks, his eyes aren't even moist.
Total sociopath, zero feelings for other people.
He's the victim and that's all there is to it

i don't know if someone has already posted this, but lloyd has put up a video talking about his hooking up with hookers.

personally that does not bother me but the way he is handling it is such a god damn train wreck.

Yes, he's a total trainwreck.
He's a trainwreck who cannot take responsibility for his own actions or apologise when he does things wrong.
I'd like Jordan Peterson to watch Lloyd's video and comment on what kind of person Lloyd is.
I'm guessing it would be 'sociopath'.

is he really so blinded by his own hubris he can’t see he is in very real danger of becoming a washed up meme over this?! - er, yes, he is.
I've just watched the whole vid - I didn't want to but I felt I had to because I'd already made negative comments about him and he does deserve a chance to speak.
And the video is just a self-serving exercise. Lloyd Evans feels he is a victim of the WTS and is pinning the blame on them for his choice to cheat on his wife repeatedly with prostitutes.
He has form on not taking responsibility for his actions - just look at his behaviour over the whole AAWA thing.
The real victims in all this are his wife and kids.
Often when I hear of people's sleaze, I break into laughter. But the thought of his wife and kids is kinda stopping me here.
