Scared of Armageddon?
by naja inin the light of the following promises made by jehovah, how can there be an armageddon?.
genesis 8:21: ... so jehovah said in his heart: never again will i cursethe groundon mans account, for the inclination of the heart of man is bad from his youth up;and never again will i strike down every living thing as i have done.. genesis 9:15, 16: and i will certainly remember my covenant that i made between me and you and every living creature of every kind;and never again will the waters become a flood to destroy all flesh.and the rainbow will occur in the cloud, and i will certainly see it and remember the everlasting covenant between god and every living creature of every kindon the earth.. does it make sense to say "i will never kill you by a flood, next time i will use fire?
just asking.. .

The prophecies in Matthew. Were about the destruction of Jerusalem , the temple and the old covenant. It has nothing to do with the so called end of the world. Messiah told those standing in front of him what would happen in their lifetime and it did.He came back for them as he promised. THe delsuion by religion is that it was a future event

Please clarify. You need to have that out with Messiah he will teach you himself all things and you will see

7 Reasons Why Babylon the Great was Jerusalem
by Tiresias inauthors david chilton (1987) and james stuart russell (1878) propose that the revelation is primarily a prophecy of the destruction of ancient jerusalem by the roman armies.
the revelation is jerusalem's armageddon (mountain of assembled roman troops).
i see the revelation as a war siren warning the first century christians of the imminent destruction of the city.

There is no gap.Messiah rule sin his KIngdom with his elect and has done since the 1st centruy. All we have to do is enter in.It is spiritual and no part of this world. The Mystery of the ages not known and made known to the gnetiles in the 1st century which is "Christ in us" the hope of Glory( colossians 1:27). There is no more death you will be transformed in the blink of an eye at your death, no law, no sin forgiven past present and future. We are fellow citizens of the Kingdom, joint heirs. Every generation has this blessing and the revealing of Chrsit within is being manifest in all. The living word within testifies Christ in you once we recognise the written word is only a testimony about Christ but the letter does not give life. The living word within you is what gives life and if we ask he will reveal himself to whosoever asks. Many are testifying of him within them. Check out my youtube channel seekchristwithin.

by God_Delusion inhello my lovelies x,.
i've just written an article which portrays parts of matthew 24, and especially verse14, which i've always found extremely implausible to comprehend.
i've written it in role play fashion, and i hope you find it interesting.. here's the link to my article - http://www.jehovahswitnessblog.com/jehovahs-witness-prophecies/are-jehovahs-witnesses-false-prophets/.

The gospel was preached to all in the 1st century Paul Testifies that in
COlossians 1: 23 if you continue in your faith, established and firm, and do not move from the hope held out in the gospel. This is the gospel that you heard and that HAS ( present tense) been proclaimed to every creature under heaven, and of which I, Paul, have become a servant.
All prophecy was about the destruction of Jerusalem and the tmeple in the 1st century and Messiah promised he would return for those 1st centruy elect and he did

Correct the 144,000 were sealed in the1st century and have ruled with Jesus in his KIngdom ever since. All things were fulfilled in that 1st century. The signs of the times were for ONE time only. The Great Tribulation they were facing was never to be repeated accordingto Jesus and just as the OT prophets had pointed to , Messiah prohesied about and those who lived in that generation were expecting and Messiah kept his promise to them. He came back for them. There is no dual fulfillment or types and shadows of what happened. They all ended with Christ. He rules in his KIngdom. In revelation the angel told John not to seal up the words of the scroll inrev 21 or 22 because the time was at hand.If itwas not for 2000 years later the scroll would have been sealed up. The end time churhces have it all wrong and are teaching a deception either knowingly or unknowingly. All things were for that 1st century generation. Even revelation was to the seven churches Asia not to the churhc of doo lally in brooklyn

Thewritten testimony plainly testifies 1st centruy Jeruslaem was Babylon the Great and the great harlot. Messiah himself prophesied against this city that had turned away from God . Culminating in the Olivet discourse where Messiah prohisied its destruction in the 1st century along with the temple it was destroyed Just as Jesus said it would be in Matthew 24

Biblical Prohecies That Came True?
by Viviane inrecently there have been several claims made regarding prophecies that came true.
i've not personally seen a prophecy that i would consider as having come true.
i would consider the following as the requirements to say something is a prophecy and evaluate whether or not it came true:.

I dont need to provide any evidence. All i share is what i discovered if you want to find Christ, he is within you, if you are serious about finding out the truth all you got to do is ask him to reveal himself and he will then you will have a living testimony of him being true all for yourself. You all keep asking for evidence why dont you go and seek it yourself instead of getting someone else to do your work,Your motivation is so blatantly obvious.
