the puzzling thing is, the org got a bond company to put up the millions, thereby incurring heavy interest charges.

Congregation Pledge Disgusted Elder
by rrb2016 inat the meeting the other night, the elder who had to read the announcements, which included the $$ info for the new donation arrangement seemed downright disgusted as he read the announcements and asked for the vote.
he said, "well, here is another organizational change" as he read the letter about the discontinuation of the 2nd meeting during co visit.
then after they voted, he said if you have any questions ask this other elder as if he wanted nothing to do with it.

God what is worse listening to a very boring talk about the need to always obey the Governing Body or watch these people make believe that they are having fun in things Organizationally approved things you can do to entertain your self and not get disfellowshipped for joy o make believe joy?
Of cource this is missing the standard warning of not to let it interfer with other Corporation authorized activities(slaving for the Corporation). It screams "See mind dead zombies can still have some type of fun, we are normal just like everybody else not in the cult."

This going door to door and encouraging house holders to go to their web site, I think is a very bad idea for the WT corporation to impliment.
One reason being that the house holder is not affraid to look up other stuff about the JWs while in the process of looking for JW.org(and if warned in advance about not going to other site's this will raise suspicion to a unindoctrinated person). This in turn could lead to further discussion on a return visit about information found on other WT expose sites, not recomended by the Corporation, with the possiblity of more exposure of the WT's dellusions to the JW publisher.
I see it as a lose lose situation this door to door promotion of the JW.org web site(which really is quite crappy and embarassingly childish and has absolutely no appeal to the unindoctrinated).
But oblivious to the fact that everybody doesn't view rhetoric of the Governing Body as do the heavily indoctrinated and they are also very blind to what would really appeal to people, besides some pipe dream about living forever serving an angry and vindictive God, while living in a deathless paradise.
These guys and this corporation are so caught up in their own dellusion it is impossible to make a good web site that won't scare off 1000x more than it does attract(only the extremely niave, & desparate, which will further dumb down the whole organization).
Those who have web sites exposing the Watchtower Corporation should rejoice at the greater influx of inquirers via the WT's corporate efforts to get more visits to their JW.org site. This one move has backfire written all over it.

Hey I thought I saw some brothers in the videos get down and wearing tight pants internationally designed by gay men to get more eye candy. I think Anthony Morris the 3rd must not have seen this one or I'm sure he would have banned its production.
I'm sure Lett didn't get a chance to ban the one where the JWs are acting all worldly by waving things in the air as a sign of greeting because I think he banned it at one convention he spoke at that left the friends in a queery over what to do.
