i was expecting you, but not so early in the day.. i saw you walk up to my neighbor fred's house last week while i was out getting the newspaper, once again tossed into the bushes by a careless newspaper boy.
today, it's the usual routine of rising at dawn, fetching the paper from the bushes -- where else?
-- and settling into my comfy, tattered wing back with the first of several cups of coffee.

in only the short time i have been no longer lurking but also posting, i have discovered some people with situations and reactions very similar to mine.
i guess there are different ways people get out, some do something and are outright shunned, then they may find ttatt and stay out.
but there may be more and more like me, who are 100% mentally out, but for the reason of not losing spouse and family fade.
Well put. The all or nothing attitude is something I am still working on. It is freeing to know you have plenty of time.
I hope youwill be able to plan a successful fade.

another good codinghorror blog entry perfectly describes some people's online behaviour and an approach to handling it.
i'll post part of it below but to summarize, these tend to be behaviours that don't violate any specific rules as such as the people doing it try to carefully skate just up to the line but they are nevertheless disruptive and we're not going to tolerate them on this site.
if you are here to do these things then this isn't the site for you - move along, find someplace else on the internet to inhabit.. hate is easy to recognize.
