  Assembly Dramas:They were so bad.... but.... you waited for them to break away from the monotony!

  you do remember the four day assemblies... sitting outdoors being fried in the sweltering heat,getting heat stroke in the middle of july in an outdoor baseball stadium.sitting outdoors from 9:45 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. was so much fun while you wore a suit,long sleeve shirt and a tie while your brain fried.

  mom's who had children to take care of,lug strollers,feed all the kids,take them for bathroom breaks and try to not faint from the heat.. the sound and audio was always breaking and barely audible from the wind,airplanes flying over and (if you attended the cicero,illinois circuit )you would smell horse manure from the horse stables next door.. you know that you are a jehovah's witness.... when the only excitement waiting for the drama... where brothers and sisters dress up in ancient cloths,fake beards,fake rocks and fake soldier uniforms and wave their hands incessantly to pretend that they are acting out a drama.the excitement was unbearable!.

  I've seen school plays that are superior in every way to the crap presented in the JW dramas. What used to freak me out was the way they spoke of the dramas after - as if they had just witnessed a Tony winning performance worthy of being cast on Broadway. That's the problem with JW land . Conditioned mentally to believe everything they do is the best.Like their public speaking. The crappy gestures and injunctions given out by a long outdated book that they use. That make for crappy speakers that they produce. Even the bible reading was pathetic. Especially the eldubs. I have never been more bored by anything I've seen or heard than the dramas , talks and bible reading at the JW performances.

  God answers JW prayers about trivialities while ignoring the abuse of little children

  i've heard many experiences about how jehovah answers the prayers of jw's - convention items about pioneers gas bills, car repairs, job opportunities.

  now, if this is true, you are actually stating that god has directly intervened in your life.

  What intrigued me was the question ...that is before I came to the realization that it was a book cooked up by the Jews to keep themselves in line with their leaders's veiws....was the criteria Hobo used to choose good ole Abe and his progeny as His people. What I wondered at was how come there wasn't a single person on earth at the time who could match him for goodness? And what was so good about him? He almost let his wife have her virtue violated. Was willing to murder his son on hearing g a voice asking him to do so? Or was it an angel or a dream? Hell too effing immaterial to remember. Was it a piece if flaming lumber? Who cares . The book is so full of s***. The same flawed principle is carried through in the prayer business. Pick and choose who yu wanna listen to, who yu wanna make rich or famous or a criminal or a Judas.

  There's a friend , catholic, who prayed to St. Anthony for the return of a lost ear ring. Two months ago. Expensive. Found it 3 dys later in the trash. Believes implicitly that prayers are answered. Similar to an example given in another post above. Prayer helps in finding an ear ring . But doesn't when asking in anguish for a terminal disease or malady or hunger to be ameliorated or ended.

  A lot of good looking girls. Who desperately needed making out with -but were scared shitless .Nevertheless yu could tell by the body lang. When they were near yu. The way they hung on your word or sit rapturous while yu gave a 5 min. Talk from the pulpit.

  Hell man . What a waste of divine womanhood ... to be lost on some bigot who thinks he has a"fine standing with Hobo"!!!

  Rutherford liked Money Power and Pussy. All of us do. Nothing wrong with that. But he was willing and able to take a lame brained religion and see it for what it was. A means to getting all three. He did what he had to, had a grand time of it, knew nothing would be done by anyone as they were all hypnotized by the religious mumbo jumbo. Of all the JW heads, Imo, he alone knew the bullshit they were preaching and teaching , added his own to keep the shit afloat and just went on enjoying life. Never got caught. His brother on the other hand did not have the requisite skills to swindle on that large a scale so resorted to petty stuff. And got caught if the report is true.

  Movies I'm Watching

  i have, for about 6 months now, been trying to watch every single movie that was "cool" or interesting since 1960.it started out with a desire to watch as an adult all disney movies.

  then it morphed into all bond movies (except for the non-canonicals).now it's turned into pretty much any and all movies.

  here is my list, scratched out are ones i have seen, green are recent next-in line.turns out there was a lot i had never seen before, about 70% because of the cult restrictions!

  where a few of us here on the forum live is in an emergency situation.

  the main spillway on oroville dam -- the tallest dam in the usa -- is damaged.

  the emergency spillway, never used before in the 48 years the dam has operated, is eroding.. major confusion and panic occurred when the order went out sunday, late afternoon: this is not a drill!.

  it seems that the other threads about trump's policies are veering off into endless ideological theories about how much better we are than islam.

  does anyone think there is a chance that islam can be changed in the same manner that christianity has over the centuries?

  with the inflow of ideas from western countries into the middle east, will people gradually want to move away from sharia law to something less patriarchal and cruel?

  If yu think JW'S Are a cult or the Mormons or Scientiologists think again. Wahabi muslims and all their adherents are indoctrinated a hundred times more.

  How successful is the movement in exposing these three cults. Realistically speaking? Now imagine the insurmountable task of getting billions of Muslims to get out of cult mode. Mohammed was the father of this cult. And he has rivited his teachings into the minds of his followers so deep that even a nuke won reach it to dislodge.

  I would advocate reading the Quran to understand the extent of the madmans cultic teachings. English translations are available although they won't call it "translations" since their god wanted them to read his words only in arabic.
