it has almost been 2 years since i d/a myself and walked away from a life time of being a jw.
it has not been an easy road,,,,,the first several months were terrifiying , confusing, emotions going back and forth on weither i was doing the right thing.
a year after leaving, i just didnt care anymore , but still felt like i was an ex jw.

I don't know you well enough to call you by your first name, but you are one of the first people who I related to on this board. Your story is tragic...in some ways similar to mine. Your posts that I have read have meant something dear to me.
I am so happy for you and your family that you are finally feeling free and feel that you can move on with your life. It just makes me want to go to the KH and during the WT study raise my hands and grab the microphone and scream to them "Lyineyes is free!!! You couldn't beat down and destroy another soul." Of course that's if I went to the KH anymore.
Hoooooray!!! for your son and his achievements, that is something for you to be so proud of.

superbowl is around the corner and just wondering how many of you are football fans and who your favorite team is?.
me, i don't watch football as much as i used to.
i'm from huntington, wv and the football team there is marshall university "the thundering herd".
Eagles are cool, Eagles are cool, but you know they are outright rivals of the Steelers since both teams are in Pennsylvania.
LOL @ Dansk...my roommate may know about the Manchester United Football Club...she is from Manchester...
And since when did the Rams move to St. Louis? I was watching the game the other night and couldn't believe my eyes...
shows how much I've been watching lately

Me, I don't watch football as much as I used to. I'm from Huntington, WV and the football team there is Marshall University "The Thundering Herd". Chad Pennington from the NY Jets played football there.
My favorite team is the Pittsburgh Steelers. Yea!!!
My older brother took my twin sister and I to a couple of WVU games when we were in high school.
My twin sister and I used to pass a new roll of toilet paper down the hallway back and forth to each other when we were going to art school, in between the gouche, black ink and rubber cement projects, while we would be watching the Steelers on TV.
Let me know...
Who's your fav?
if you were not ever a jw, how would your life have been different-----socially, materially, educationally, sexually, emotionally, mentally....etc.??
?
YES!!! or should I say...
Yes

i do not have a lot of creative free-reign at my "stable" job-i have to cater to low modem speeds (i am talking about web deveolopment here) and that is fine, low resolution-fine, i can do all that.
my business i have, i have more creative free-reign because when i make a design, 90% of the time, the client loves it...they can say a couple words to me and i will make exactly what they want to see.
i charge $45/hour for my work and i have a lot of satisfied customers.
jwbot,
excellent work!!! our website is up but we still have work to do on it http://www.thecreativeformula.com
