Blondie - Now post all the articles, broadcasts, Year Book experiences and talks where they say that "Jehovah's hand provided!", "Clearly Jehovah had our backing" etc...
They want it both ways I've realized.
i have been a jw my whole life and i have never been able to get a clear answer on this question.
jw's do not believe that jehovah will intervene if someone is sick, dying or stopping a car crash.
they feel that jehovah is letting "this world" play out before he solves all of these problems.

in this sunday's watchtower they proceeded to put this in the article, "distractions, said the watchtowerof september 15, 1958, will likely increase as this world nears its doom.
how true!
"are they really patting themselves on the back for this statement?
but many JWs are negative so they feel like it's true.
The past 2 years alone I realized how true this actually is. I am constantly around negative people. The people that are attracted to this religion thrive off of negativity and doom and gloom.
I can't put into words how true that small statement is.

My prophesy: moronic statements in Watchtower study articles will likely increase as time goes on.
I never realized how bad it was. Hope they don't lay off their writing department.
latest from a reliable source: .
"more news from the south-west of england.cinderford congregation has been terminated.
if you look on jw.org it hasn't disappeared yet (dec 20th 2015) but it's meeting time is shown as sunday at 10.00 am and that is not possible, as lydney who shared the same hall are listed as sunday at 10.30 am.cinderford and lydney shared a hall in parkend, lydney, gloucestershire.

Here's another golden nugget from that article, "Jesus was not burdened with material possessions; he did not own a house or land."
Do these guys think before writing these articles? They own thousand of properties! Yet they tell their members they shouldn't own land and even go as far as saying that Jesus did not own land.
So Jesus did not own land yet his only true organization does?

If Jehovah didn't intervene to help you, it's because he's allowing things in this system to play out. If something gooddoes happen to you, though, it's because of Jehovah.
In short, anything good that happens to you is because of your involvement in the cult, and if anything bad happens it's either Satan's system testing you or because you're not having enough involvement in the cult.
I see what you are saying but it still doesn't explain why they say Jehovah intervenes for some things and yet when it comes to sickness/accidents that he stays completely out of it.
i'd like to start off by saying that i will be very vague in everything i say.
i am fairly "high up" in jw land and have to be somewhat careful how i word and say stuff.
sorry in advance if any specific details are left out.
Here's something that makes me want to puke.
I can't tell you how many witnesses have said that the cost cutting methods is one of the smartest decisions they've ever seen. How Jehovah must really want more funds and time to go into the preaching work...
These people don't think before they speak...
i wanted to share with you some feed back from this region.
since you could say tanzania and other regions within africa are the last hard to reach places on the earth.
it is where the www preaching work funds are directed, as being justified to get your donations.there are now no longer any foreigners at the branch within tanzania, they all were told to go.
It's like they're just up and abandoning certain areas. This doesn't seem temporary either. It's like they are accepting their current membership size and are hoping to just be able to sustain their main branches indefinitely.
I've heard many witnesses saying how smart these types of moves are as they are allowing more funds to go to what is important, the preaching work.
i read crisis on the conscience and i am about to start, "who wrote the bible?
" does anyone have a list or great books to read for anyone searching for the real truth?
i've only ever seen the world through a jw lens and i am excited to see what other view points are out there!
