  i thought at the end, stewart made brilliant use of scripture (about establishing fornication or other sexually immoral practises) how, in such a clever way stewart used scripture to point out that some one could basically stake out someone's house to see if a person stayed over night be they homosexual or heterosexual............that on the basis of a sort of stakeout, the two witness rule was ambivalent yet it prevailed.

  due to sufficient suspicion.. and therefore why did this "suspicion" not prevail with child sexual abuse.

  Perhaps Angus, in getting his various law degree's had had some training in philosophy which includes debating on a public platform. He has a strong team of researchers who would have been tireless in digging through mountains of WT specific beliefs and then reading and processing them order to "own" the knowledge, which in turn allows for an informed discussion using that knowledge.

  In law degree's Philosophy is often one of the most useful tools a decent barrister or Lawyer will embrace. For, in order to present one's argument, you are obliged to know the subject fairly well. So he knew his subject matter well......

  The Royal Commission and Watchtower - A game changer

  i had finished watching all the videos on the royal commission's investigation of jehovah's witnesses (yes, i know more videos are being released).

  i am still processing the information of everything that has emerged.

  i do not plan to cover it all here, but i would like to point out that it is patently obvious that some of the wt representatives provided misleading information.

  The city overseer once cautioned the congregation about spanking their children in the parking lot for fear that a neighbor would call child protective services. Better to do it in your car!

  Also, Stewart was paving the way for further observations by using the premise that "literal rods" and "beatings" are not the norm for our Western societies anymore. That this rod, is no longer a literal application, for time has passed and we have evolved....

  He was creating an area of thought whereby it could be plainly shown that JWs no longer subscribe to this literal rod thing. Therefore............times had changed and therefore it was not a quantum leap of thought to do away with other draconian rules that the society holds to.......This is why the topic was established.

  his land reforms resulted in much economic hardship for the people of zimbabwe and anyone who was a white farmer in zimbabwe suffered dire consequences as a result of mugabe's land grabs post-2000.

  the atrocities against the people of zimbabwe have been documented by cathy buckle and i have personally heard of the violence against those opposed to mugawbe's policies.. some comments from a 2003 article about robert mugabe:.

  Wow Crow!!

  Thanks for that information. Posts like this amaze me at the the complete lack of knowledge the average JW has about it's own religion. It is highly suspect that they, the witnesses would tout this man by means of "tourism". For that is what they are doing. Then again, they are simply fulfilling the command to preach to all the inhabited earth.

  Next someone will be telling me that North Korean leader Kim il um sing jongy thing aiilll (whatever the hell his name is) ..... Is a really good guy and has Jehovah's Witnesses working for him because they are so good at "not knowing what is going on".

  They had plenty of exJWs on board. There was no problem with gaining inside information..........those little things that only a JW knows or knew about WTBTS method of teaching and handling of complaints, DF ing and so on. They had some pretty good people with well educated back grounds who could assist them.

  And yes; it was frustrating listening to Jackson try to minimise his/their role. But they were not ever fooled. The RC had known of his being in Australia from the time he arrived. They choose when to act or when it's better to see how things pan out.

  Then again, they had commenced gaining understanding and dealing with this particular issue since they announced the RC back in 2013.

  That's what I trust about the RC, for it shows a thorough and methodical approach. To actually compel Jackson to answer up was a good thing as he and his words are now "captive.".......to loosely quote Angus Stewart.

  Hello people. Straight after the commission ended today within minutes, the phone rang. It was one of the people who are working on it. Firstly she established if I was alright and did I want to talk.

  I said I was too tired and unhappy that Geoffrey Jackson managed to do some preaching....She said they were aware of that. Then I said.."You know he was lying don't you, he was lying about the role of the GB in many subtle ways and not so subtle ways?" ............."Oh we knew that all along,we had the documents right here with us". I then said...." You do realize he is one of seven men who vote on policy and they don't sit around prayerfully as Jackson maintained, they just vote and sometimes the deciding factor is perhaps one vote?" She said she knew that too, and for me not to be too worried about the commission being fooled, for they were not fooled at all.

  I asked her if she really thought for one minute that the society is feeling bad about the plight of sexually molested children? And " You do know this is all about money don't you?".....Yes, she said they all knew it was about showing a façade of decency and holding onto money.

  I said that since the commission, many people are coming forward and what did this mean to the RC. She said this was expected and that everyone would be contacted and helped, and that all information would be kept for use later on......

  She was lovely and her words were not empty. She reminded me that I must not think it is over and that there is a long way to go. She has started the processes that I will go through but with tremendous support.

  I just thought it might help someone here who may be in Australia and is considering some action, even a small action.......not to be afraid. You will be treated very well and they will believe you.....OH!!!! Dear old Geoff made a few enemies today when he talked about a mother grooming her child to accuse the father of molestation....They thought it a dirty cheap shot..!

  Well I have this site up and the other one up and my email open and ready to go...so thanks....

  I become really angry at the holiness of jackson. I know he speaks pretty well and so on, but the questions aimed at him.....he is skirting all over, trying to divert.....I hate that attitude.

  Just say "Sorry all you children and women, we will allow you your full rights and compensations should you need them...We're off to make some really big changes now that we have this new light"......

  Do you think I had a strange moment there?
