Steve2. That is a carefully crafted sentence. Such words in WT speak, mean..." Yes, we are respecting your' right to have your' say. Your Honour. However, we will never allow what you are trying to convey to us, to take up residence in our perfect spiritual arrangement which can only be efficiently done by .......men!!!"

He may seem nice and likeable...........until the hard questions are put to him. If this bit of news is true, it means that against his will, he is compelled to answer up.
The RC has done a lot of research into the hierarchy of this religion and eventually were made aware of his status in the decision making processes. Recall, it was put to the last witness by Stewart that he had deceived the commission as to the role....(power) and influence this man had over those who practice and are faithful to this religion.
They were not content with......" He's in control of the translating side of things....spin"
I really hope this source is accurate....

Pray for Brother Jackson of the Governing Body!
In today’s news from Australia it appears that, despite his previous declination to appear when invited, Justice McClellan from the Australian Royal Commission on Child Sex Abuse will officially summon brother Geoffrey Jackson to the stand after all.
“ ….. The commission was due to conclude its hearings into the Jehovah’s Witnesses on Wednesday but Justice McClellan said he will now call Geoffrey Jackson, a senior member of the church’s governing body in New York who is currently in Australia, to appear next week.”
Here is where the Prosecutor talks to the Justice regarding Brother Jackson’s
Hello people. I have just found this on a pro JW site. I don't know if it's completely true yet. But I was told on Friday by one of the staff helping me. " Oh, don't worry about him, we are working on that." I had asked her if he was going to be allowed to beg off appearing before the RC

Angus Stewart calls the JW religion a captive organization
by oppostate inif you watched the questioning of terrence o'brien by angus stewart at day 7 part 3 on youtube--thanks so much for uploading these videos--you'll see that mr. stewart puts quite clearly to brother o'brien that the jw 0rganization is a "captive organization".. he makes this reference regarding the practice of da/df'ing and shunning, which he mentions is the one thing that makes ex-jw's the most angry.
because insisting on shunning ex-members causes psychological trauma and separates people from their family, friends and their community of support; therefore, they are held captive by the organization if they don't want to lose those most dear to them.. i believe angus stewart is to be commended for seeing clearly what the wt/jw religion is truly like in practice, and it isn't pretty.. the term "captive organization" is usually used in finance to mean a business front, a legal veil that shields the parent company from liability and having to make big insurance payouts.
for example if the australian branch gets sued and loses, the "wt australia" corporation will pay the amount awarded by the judge to the complainant.

O Brian for WT said that disassociated ones had a much easier way to re-enter this religion. That is crap. My sister disassociated in a very quiet manner. Not making a fuss, not talking about her feelings.........She just stopped turning up to meetings.
If she goes back to the meetings she may go once, twice or three times and recieve a good old love bomb. Then the elders will take her aside to question her lifestyle since she has been absent without leave. They will know a lot from their conversations with her own still very much in, children. Then, knowing she had a blood transfusion and has a boyfriend..........she WILL be disfellowshipped....And that is that!!!

JW.ORG on “uncleanness” that displeases God
by opusdei1972 ini have been recently reading in jw.org the following absurdities on their black and white world: .
do jehovahs witnesses have rules about dating?......christians who want to marry are commanded to choose only a fellow believer.
(1 corinthians 7:39) jehovahs witnesses view this command as referring not merely to a person who respects our beliefs but to one who shares and practices those beliefs as a baptized witness.

But, they need more children to indoctrinate from the cradle....so perhaps they should suggest a really clean way to do it....Like those in the Victorian Era.......a sheet between the man and wife, with a hole in it.
One of the most repressed era's of our time and one of the most perverted too.
I don't know why Watchtower hasn't thought of this one.

Pedophiles in Good Standing
by UnDisfellowshipped inhere is a very good quote you can use against the society from a watchtower publication that everyone knows: .
you can live forever in paradise on earth book, pages 187-188: .
"if church members who gamble, get drunk or do other wrongs are permitted to remain in good standing within their church, what does this show?

Could this have had something to do with everybody being moved to a Congregation Book study, instead of meeting in homes?
The practice here in Western Australia is that there is no book study ever conducted in private homes. They are done as a part of the mid week meeting. I am not sure when this was started, but in the last 6 years that I was on and off ....attending. All book studies were held this way. It was never explained to me why this change had been made, and I never thought too much about it...........but now I do...
Pre preaching meetings, are held at some private homes and some at the congregation.
Thank you for that informative post. I will copy and save that one for my own use.

shunning verses victamization
by Sabin ini know i`ve put this out there before but i want to put it in a different context & see what you think.
i`ve shunned my parents for 20 years (farther, step-mother) because they victimized me every day of my life as a child, believe me when i tell you that writing this , is unbelievable hard, it is making me shake & cry to be pulling up the memories.
all of what happened i could have forgiven, but one thing.

I would say that they are tearing peoples lives apart. Now that you have put it in this context.
Then again. I have never agreed with shunning, as I am one of those "shunned" by the WTBTS standards. And we all know they have put a theocratic, spiritual spin on it.
