  Do you know of any JW's that was DF/DA for going to the military?

  i think that i only know of 1 guy that i grew up with that was da'd for going to the army.

  is this an isolated case or is it a common problem among young jw's men and women going to the military and being df or da?

  I was DA'ed for worldly behavior, I think I joined the Navy about 18 months after that. What a great expeience!

  i know it was a rather long and drawn out title but i couldnt' think of another way to word it.

  this is especially for the new poster darcy.

  i was wondering what you felt was necessary to receive everlasting life, whether on heaven or paradise earth?

  as some may know i am a huge avid chicago cubs fan, mainly because my dad's side of the family is from that area.

  where are all the cub fans?

  as i wear my cub apparel out in public, i get looks like i was a dying breed.

  So WT chronology lacks sense as well? But the Tower will build upon a chronology that doesnt make sense. This has to be the most revealing thing youve stated.

  I stand as an example of yet another loyal honest JW who struck out to prove his belief in 607 was founded on truth and all I found was a retarded morass of circular reasoning. Being one who hates to be wrong, I had a death grip on 607 which was only loosened by being repeatedly beat with the "TRUTH".

  What sealed the deal for me was the fact that a JW cannot connect the Kings and years rule to complete there "shifting sands" chronology.

  Scholar, the Towers and any JW apologist cannot and will not ever face the glaring fact they have no Kings List. I have yet to witness this. Thats really the end of the argument.

  Put up or shut up, and listen to your mother Org.

  Prince has always been a legend in his own mind..but I enjoyed his performance..he's still talented in his own quirky way..but really... I wonder what the Dubs think of him professing to be a JW...

  In ' 84 shortley after I joined the Navy which in turn severed me from the Org. Purple Rain movie and sound track was the biggest thing going on. If there was anything that competed at all with Michael Jackson (male performer) that person had to have something special. The JW irony makes me chuckle
