My local congregation says SHUNNING is unscriptural. They say that birthdays are perfectly fine if you dont use a pinata and....dont go there today because they are all at the FIREWORKS.

Armagedon delayed so we are planning babies at 37 years old!! Advice?

never thought the system would go on so i would never face this situation....problem is my mum always told me how i was the firstborn after 4 baby deaths {this really messed her up and scared me} me and my sister who is married and 30 have had no kids....no grandkids for my family.
i'm financially well off, and without kids i spend money on whatever i want and have pets but....still feels abit empty.

I was 34 with my first....40-1/2 with my third and last and I wouldnt trade it for anything. I was READY and wanted them soooo badly. They came into a home with a mom who was mentally prepared for their arrival. I loved every minute of being pregnant...ok maybe not so much those labor pains LOL!
Get a basal thermometer. Keep track of your days when you are most fertile. The older you get the harder it is, in theory, to get pregnant so be patient and remember...practice makes perfect!!
Wouldnt that be just the BEST revenge???

Christendom - Who are members?
by donny ini was talking to a co-worker who is seventh day adventist and he mentioned the term christendom.
i asked him what he meant by that term and he said it was religions who claimed to follow christ but do not.
i asked him if this included jw's and he said it did as they were part of this false christianity that jesus would one day judge as unworthy.

I got news for all of them.... since there only was one perfect Christ...ALL OF HIS FOLLOWERS are in "Christendom".
Of course everybody wants to be King of the Hill and thinks they are BETTER and more HOLY than anybody else and as soon as they say that, they demote themselves to the bottom of it.

Bethel tells us not to build a new Hall since no more Bookstudy! Takes our $147,000!!!
by Witness 007 inyes we saved and loaned and skrimped to build our own hall as we share with 6 other congs amd our area keeps growing bigger.
we even picked out the land....nice, perfect for a hall.
we had 147,000 so....then the advice comes from "above" that bethel advised us not to build since the bookstudy is cancelled our hall can take one more cong????

When we were planning on moving from Illinois to Florida, my JW husband "felt guilty" that he was leaving and gave the JWs $1000!! He hid it from me using a business account that only HE was a signer on. I found the cancelled check years later when trying to find out why we missed a payment to the IRS in our self employment taxes. We didnt have a pot to piss in when we moved down here and of course he never told nor asked ME if he could do this.
I am inclined to change my beneficiaries on all my life insurance policies to my kids so he doesnt give what little I have to the damn JWS!!!

She is a very talented and humble lady and so is her sister. Its unfortunate that she has to throw her hat in the ring with the JWs but like Prince and like Michael...as celebrities they can be pointed to with some smugness by the JWs as sistahs and bruthas.
When they have to do NATIONALISTIC things like run around with the flag, that is what is EXPECTED of them in the public arena and Im sure the whole time they are doing it they are saying "Jehovah I dont really mean this, please forgive me to having to do this!"

I live with little respect from my mate ...
by The Berean ini have been married for over 30 years to a woman who was as good as i could have realistically hoped for and i probably am as good as she could have hoped for.. yet, over time, she has become less and less willing to respect my experience and conclusions concerning life.
the signs of disrespect are a knee-jerk reaction to doubt and correct my point of view even before i complete a thought or sentence.
while some of that can be seen in her mother and may be conditioned, my departure from the organizartion and her continued dedication to same has amplified her apparent inner distain.

A lot of what you are experiencing is normal for being married that long. But the JW thing just holds a magnifiying glass to all of it because they promote ignoring unbelieving, exbelieving mates. There is no doubt about the existence of THAT dictate. But I wouldnt replace her or go live alone. I dont think you would be happier that way. There must be some redeeming factor in your marriage and your mate that will sustain you?
Mates...sometimes you cant live with em and you cant shoot em. :)

Ex jw wife

allow my ex wife to be free and marry.. saturday night she called out of the blue ( maybe there is a god upthere looking down) after 3 years of not talking to her and she wants to meets.. we met last night and after small talk about how we are both doing and family stuff, she asked me if i would write a letter.
freeing her or releasing her from our marriage without admitting adultery, since i don't believe in the bible anymore,.

My father who screwed around on my mother a FULL 10 years before running off with his hussy and dumping my mother, married this pitbull and then turned around and asked my mother to sign a piece of paper from the CATHOLIC CHURCH to ANNUL his 25 year marriage to my mother! Asked her to SIGN THAT!!! What the FUUUUUU?????? Just so that his VERY holy pitbull ho girlfriend could get married IN THE CATHOLIC CHURCH!!
