I would like to thank my children......
by awildflower in......for being so obedient and cooperative during our lives as jw's.
for getting ready for all of those meetings and doing their best to study before hand and comment.
for volunteering to help the elderly and others with yard work and cooking and babysitting.

That was wonderful wild...just wonderful and not said enough IMHO. Locked...Im waiting for that to happen with my husband. He is so rabid JW now that Im gone from the house, and says his only regret is "not teaching his children Jehovahs will" (??) and Im afraid given an inch with any grandkids that he will be doing that to them and it will cause a rift between his kids and him and his grandkids and him.
Hopefully when he starts that crap one good wack upside the head he will get the message and stop :)

Worldly person tries to call HQ for convention info.
by AuntBee inat someone's suggestion, i tried calling a few phone numbers to get more detailed convention info.
i kind of want to tape the rest, it feels so incomplete, and i wanted to hear the rest for my own research.
basically i wanted to know which one a certain congregation would be attending.

just sick to the point that i am sick from it all.. my estranged husband is still a jw and in the advent of my moving out of his house, he has become a rabid jw.
his mother who is an ex like me, and who is shunned by him and his sister and her family, is married to an elder.

Shes not "disabled". She works at McDonalds. She is Downs. And her mother doesnt "need a break" from her as she takes care of herself. If someone is trying to sneak her out of the house to go to meetings which she is NOT allowed to go to against the will of her own mother, yes I WILL be telling her mother about it. NOT telling her mother is to aid and abett the JWs sneaking her out of the house and I am not going to allow that knowing how her mother feels about it. Not any more than I would allow her to go to KKK meetings which in my opinion are just as hateful and Godless as JW meetings are short of burning crosses.
