I just found this site two days ago when searching for some info on 1 Cor 15:50. Yet it looks like everyone and their brother has known about this site for ages. Where have I been?
It is a Jesus/Trinity site though ... but at the very least it is a good site to use to prove to your girlfriend that JWs (at the VERY least) do not REALLY follow the bible.

reasoning with a jw would be possible, but she is a bible study, so If I reason with her and in any way counterdict what the org tells her, she refuses to think about it and instead goes and asks her teacher or tries to look up their reasoning. And that is the whole problem, I have no theologic credablity with her. For that matter no one outside the WTBS has any credability. After all were just oposers and apostates.
Since she lacks the complete knowledge of their theology you cant make her question it. All I end up doing is making her get more answeres from them which she swallows hook line and sinker. And the cycle begins again, that is another debate, argument, etc.

maybe you like to argue. maybe you enjoy frustration.
personally it seems like there is a need to control the situation. (i speak from experience). maybe what you REALLY want is just to win.

I have a question; somewhat personal, are you and she physically intimate? If so, her debating the fine points of doctrine are moot and hypocritical if she believes the JW dogma.

It sounds like what I went through for me as my ex was just like that. When I got to a point where she couldn't answer my question, it was end of discussion. Everything was black and white to her if it was anything against what the society said it was apostate and not to be discussed. There was no way you could reason with her.

The answer is we have been but the guilt trip was too much, but there is still alot of frustrating make out session (feels like high school all over)
