I need help here. I had a 2 hour discussion with my JW brother (a real breakthrough as far as association) and he said he had problems with the Dateline Show. I asked him what the problems were and he said that for one the Watchtower building was "altered" to say "read the Watchtower Daily". I told him it did not say that but I could not remember the exact quote. I have since pulled out my video and it says "Read the Watchtower Announcing Jehovah's Kingdom". I saw the building myself in person and it really blows me away that he thinks Dateline would alter the look of the building.????? But he is SURE the WTS would never encourage the reading of the Watchtower in such a powerful way. He is sure it says Read the Bible in it's place and Dateline wanted to make the WTS look like a cult. What I need is for someone to point me to a publication that shows that building with that quote. I would like to send it to him.

Anybody have an "Insight from the Scriptures" book? Do they have a picture in there? If memory serves me it seems they had a bunch of WTS buildings pictured. Thanks for your help.

haha it'd be funny if it said, "read God's word the Watchtower daily"... witnesses wouldn't believe it, and then when they saw it in real life, they'd try their best to justify it all day... like the UN scandal... they'd say that apostates changed the sign, then when the watchtower wrote a letter to all the branch overseers explaining it to anyone who asked, they'd just repeat what the letter said HAHA!

hello! Has everyone forgotten that the daily text? "Examining the Scrioptures daily" This is a single verse from the bible followed by a whole paragraph taken from last years watchtower. If thats not advocating reading the watchtower daily I don't know what is!
