A good thread. I think most JWs are "trained" to only cope with very superficial questions about life, the earth and their religion. Any questioner who goes beyond the "expected" questions automatically puts the JWs on red alert, whether the questioner is an ex-JW or someone else who just happens to have thought things through at a less simplistic level. JWs are scared of people who actually think things through - it's all part of the cult mentality's success at getting members to doubt their capacity to think.
