On JW-MEdia, the official WT sitre, this is how the boys in Crooklyn are describing thier membership figures:

Attendance at the annual Memorial of Christ's death

    16,760,607

Total volunteer hours spent in public Bible educational work

    1.3 billion

Average weekly home Bible courses taught

    6,085,387

    Practicing members*

    6,513,132

    New members baptized

    262,416

    Increase over 2003

    2.0 percent

    Branch offices

    111

    Congregations

    96,894

    * While other religious groups count their membership by occasional or annual attendance, this figure reflects only those who are actively involved in the public Bible educational work.

Can't help themselves, can they? It doesn't matter what it is, they just always have to slag off at the churches!

Yep, no religion is as devoted, dependable, and dedicated to God as they are. They are so full of themselves. Then on top of that they throw in that they alone are right in their interpetation of the bible.

Always those digs to other Christians religions. They ought to list the totals of disfellowshipped and disassociated ones.

I suspect the whole list of statistics is a load of manure anyway, just to make people believe they're a growing religion.

If taken literally, the above numbers show that nealy five thousand hours of field service are needed per one baptism. At ten hours per month it takes slightly over forty one years of part time preaching to make a single convert.

    What a waste.

That hours spend must be 1.3 billion - 40 hours. I did write them but never actually made them
