Squinks, I put a hold on it at the Library -- it's the new version, not the original, though. Thanks for the heads-up.

    Ter, Love you too! LB/DL

    Bem, thank you, sweetie!

It's an interesting list, but I agree with some and completely disagree with others, While it's nice to brainwash yourself, like we all used to, Life does hold cold realities, and you stay naive if you dont except them. Or can I put a positive spin on naive, and call it inocense, the thing we all miss.

I agree with you, ballistic. There were several rather fanciful ones, but I felt a lot of realities, too, specially for those of us who are sitting alone, with no perceivable loved ones.

It's good to be reminded that someone cares, huh? Yes, remember the innocence, it is a good thing.

I don't know what a Schnare's penguin is, but we often see little blue penguins here.

I found one on the beach after a storm in very poor condition. It was absolutely beautiful and so very light for its size. We tried to feed it up but it died in my hands. I was heart broken.

We have people here that specialise in looking after traumatised birds and I have their phone number now. I wish I had it then.

That's so sad, Chris. They are so beautiful. Here's a picture of Snare's (that's the spelling).

They come to NZ to breed, climb a steep rock wall, trek to the forest, have their young. Then, every day make the trek twice to get food, come back and feed the hatchlings. When they are in the water, they move like lightning! Amazing.
