Remember the not-at homes?

We used to call those that we knew were home but acted as if they weren't---WADs! (Won't Answer Door)

How many times have we knocked (heard a tv or radio playing or little kids making noise) and get down the sidewalk a few steps---turn around---and see the drapes wiggling!!!

I was a smart-ass when I was in the mood (and depending on who I was "working" with)----I'd turn around and give them a big, friendly WAVE, along with an even bigger smile! My bad!

Like em or loath em, , Not homes were a way of life as dub , at least up to the nineties when I was active. It all depended on the diligence of the Service Overseer, prompted by the C/o . Some would have you back over and over, just in case someone could be found

Is it right that they no longer produce an S8 form to write them down on?
