I SHOULDNT TELL YOU ALL THIS...
You heard it right, folks. Imagine wearing that across your forehead for the rest of your "CHRISTIAN" life. He (christian brother for 9 years prior to my meeting him) decided he needed to poke his tongue in my 3 year old daughters' --- stuff, and then coerced me into sex with him to get forgiveness. He knew full what that he needed to "resume" sex to get what he wanted. ---" if I can't have you, nobody will." The Society's little treat for adulterers who know how to bend the rules.
Sadly enough, it's not "the marriage bed" that forgives. I found out the hard way. The Sister who studied with me gave me the idea counsel: "Don't you sleep with him!" Well, Lillian, I didn't. Thanx for the advice!
The situation was so devistating, that I couldn't figure out which was worse, the way he raped my daughter or raped me of my dignity. The society gave him the victory. He was reinstated 2 years later, and I was in love with someone else - not free to remarry, and he was playing the good boy, hoping he had placed me in enough grief that I'd come crawling back. Well, I didn't. I raised my two kids ALONE, trying to maintain my faith after what he did. That's not even the kicker tho. 20 years later, I realized why it all happened in the first place. I never even loved the man. He plowed me down right from the start.
When someone is newly baptised, they come into the truth with such zeal and excitement that they think everyone in the faith feels the same way. The elders decided they needed to protect their errand one, therefore, they let HIM tell me about his past - which he watered down severely, and they never bothered to warn me that just because he was repentant, that didn't mean he wouldn't do it again. Sure enough, he did it again.
Trying to decide who held my baby's legs open for him, me or them.
I'll never recover.
