EvilForce.... surely your moniker relects your humor, as you're too "cool" of a guy by sharing your knowledge - there's no 'evil' in you dude.... you're a force for good (and you've been busted )

I have tennis elbow or epicondylitis in both my elbows.

When it first happened, it was very painful for a long time. Now, it just aches all the time....i live with it.

Cortisone was offered to me but i refused because its not good for your body anyway....plus, as with you, it doesnt always work.

I havent had surgery and i probably wouldnt have it either. I got referred to someone that massaged the little lumps or glands that you can feel when pressing on my arms....specifically from the elbow to the hand.

I am not sure what you call those people that do that.....It wasnt a normal massage thing......she was a physician.,,,,,,she may have been called a hand therapist.

Thanks Fairy but if anyone were to touch it let alone rub it ,i would probably punch them in the mouth. Not really punch them but maybe kick them in the shin.

I have heard of Hand Therapist and hear they do great things.

Sorry you are having pain all the time ,i know how it sucks.

Yes, i know what you mean.....about how it hurts......when i had that hand therapy, it hurt so much when they first started i just about cried it was so painful..........sometimes at night, it would take ages for me to get to sleep because i couldnt find a comfortable position for my arms.

I hear weed is good for chronic pain.

If you can remember, are those little lumps by any chance lymph nodes? Or acupressure points?

Well thank you all for the vote of "no evil".

I developed this moniker when I was always told...going off to college is selfish.... blah, blah...

My mother would always tell me I was being evil...so Evil + a little Star Wars and you get Evil Force.

Fairy.... endoscopic surgeries are quite easily perfomed and quite successful for many "joint" issues. The entry incision is only about 1/4" of an inch. 2 stitches and good as new. A pain blocker for the procedure no need to be put under.... a big plus.

I do remember reading a paper in JAMA or somewhere last year on Shock Wave Ultrasound for treatment of "tennis elbow". Not sure if you have tried this or heard of this, but maybe an alternative to your current treatments.

Please keep in mind this IS NOT my area of specialty so am not advocating a line of treatment.....but to give you some input :)

    Hope that helps.

Weed is like booze. Better not to drive or operate your bulldozer after using.

Several months ago on a photo shoot, my right arm/elbow started aching pretty badly. I can't remember what my doctor called it, but he helped me realize it was when my "grabbing" motion took effect. I was grabbing my camera up to my eye all night, so that made sense. Since then I've just made myself aware of when I grab things tightly and try to loosen my grip. It does relieve some of the tension. Today I realized it has a fever and just aches all the time, even swollen. When I give myself a deep tissue massage after some Advil, it's the only relief I can get, but it's short-lived.

    I think I'm just getting old...falling apart.
