GGGRRRR I can't figure it out and my patience is wearing thin. The clue is probably in "I know it follows the lines", but I can't make the connection. I have put the tiles inside the trap with the rat, taken them back out, switched the pattern on the floor, I'm running out of options.
One more challenge...

I moved the chair, but I'm not making any more progress now. Glad you lit the fireplace, it will make the room cozy if or when I get there.

Level 4 is very easy. I'm now in Level 5.

Don't move the chair until the door is unlocked. Keep the machine open and see what you can do with the tiles that you've put inside.

I can move the tiles in and out. I'm trying to make the rat follow the lines, but no luck so far.
