A young Christian girl named Marja observes: "At Christian assemblies many young people keep sending trivial messages to others. It's very common!" Similar behavior has been observed among youths engaging in the Christian ministry. The Bible advises Christians to buy out time for spiritual activities. (Ephesians 5:16) How sad when such precious time is taken up by telephone conversation!

Um, maybe if those assemblies or ministry was interesting you wouldn't have people spending time txt'ing each other.

How sad when such precious time?....Yeah, go maserbate instead...or fornicate..... then we can kick you out like we want to. We haven't found a good reason to kick you out for cell phone use yet, but God only knows you use the cell phone to make time for "hook ups" to engage in "pornia" or "beastiality"....darn kids!

Anti perspirants do contain aluminium products. But the Golden Age of the 1920's railed against this.

Every witness I know under the age of 80 has a cell phone. Like another poster said, they're not the Amish, for heaven's sake.

like i said it was a JW rumor. i tried to get them to understand it wasn't true until I was blue (or green) in the face but they kept on believing that myth.

As mentioned... they are so sure that they are the center of the universe.... they think EVERYONE is out there trying to eaves drop on their official "elder" comunique's... NOT! So they try to sound all official and say we need to speak on a land line, as if that impresses how "official" they are to "the Party" line.

There was an elder meeting with the CO's about this matter about 18 years ago when cordless phones were kind of a new thing and were not very secure. But as the post above about aluminium above...these things never die. Tell a Jo Ho once not to do something and for crying out loud it becomes the 11th commandment. The aluminium was from the 1920's and people are still holding to that?!?
