what if i don't like apples?

You mean you don't like democracy?! I know what you mean. I reckon it can be a bit like choosing which party you dislike the least. At least by voting Green in Scotland, we get representaion which unfortunately wont happen in Westminister.

Think I've said it before, but the Lib Dems are the ones I'd be most likely to have round for dinner. That Nat's can't get my vote because Nicola Sturgeon's hair dye doesn't match her skin tone and if she can't master the basics of cosmetics how will she ever manage with fiscal policy. Plus Salmond's a bit of a monarchist toadie.

    Hi scotsman,

Good to hear from you. Hope you're well.

Nicola Sturgeon's hair dye doesn't match her skin tone

    Oh, well, that's decided then!

Plus Salmond's a bit of a monarchist toadie.

Would it be different if he was a republican toadie?

I know--I owe you an email. Just been a bit snowed under lately...

This'll be the first General Election, for me, though I have previously voted in the local elections. It was cathartic!

Locally it's gonna be the Nats for me (Scottish Nationalist Party - not to be confused with the National Socialist Party - splitters...) as they are the only ones with half a chance of winning this seat against Labour.

Our local MP and MSP are Labour party-men who don't represent their constituents' interests.
It hasn't stopped them getting voted in consistently, though.

I don't particularly like Salmond (maybe I'm just being discriminatory against people with funny lips), but the local guys are semi-reasonable.
    Time will tell...

I always vote although I am of the view that the major parties only offer the same old same old. I use my vote out of principle, and like Scotsman, I am entitled to moan afterwards!

    Voting !!!! ?

I am standing for the Lib-Dem's

    And I am not even DF'd <g>.

If they try to DF me for this I can have them for intimidation of a candidate. Quite harsh penalties I believe...

Thanks Scotsman - that was brilliant except that I ended up a Green (hmmm not really) - the best part though was seeing how far removed I am from Labour.

Maybe someone should do the same thing for JWs (I know there is the general one that does all religions ) with teh grade to see how JW youre thinking is - or maybe which era of the JWs you belong to?
