Do you like it when your spouse shows a bit of jealousy?

What do you consider good jealousy, and bad jealousy in a couple?

    Give examples...

I think jealousy stems from not having a secure enough relationship with your significant other. My husband and I are not that jealous, but I think it's because I KNOW him and he KNOWS me. We spend plenty of quality time together and always show and speak our love to each other in little ways. Actually, when we go out, I love how he turns heads - he's gorgeous! It always make me laugh when we walk through the Youth Department and church and all the teeny-bopper girls turn around as he walks by. I remember being that age and having a crush on older men. It's kinda cute to think of my husband as that crush to a young girl.

Edited to add: We NEVER EVER put ourselves in a compromising position with the opposite sex though. A male coworker who is also a friends with my husband asked me out to lunch the other day. I said as long as his wife or a coworker was there, I'd love to, but otherwise, I might be better to wait for another day to get a bigger group. He respected that and I honored my husband in the longwhile. I don't need someone seeing me with a male coworker having lunch thinking it's an affair. I would never put myself in that position. I love my husband too much to even allow gossip to come up.

Good Jealousy - Your significant other sees a person of the opposite sex is overly interested, and makes sure of 2 things:

    1. You know you are loved and appreciated in your current relationship
    2. The other person knows you are taken and appreciated enough wehre you are

Bad Jealousy - Same Scenario as above, however

    1. You have no idea your s/o even cares or notices, then a few hours later you get The Inquizition where you are guilty of everything including twisting the heads off of baby chickens and making porn films whenever you aren't in sight.
    2. Your so begins a capagn of "shock and awe" of juvenile behavior that makes you look like a dumbass for being in such a bad relationship.

An Easter basket with a cute bunny and an unopened copy of Fatal Attraction as a gift: good jealousy.

A broken glass entry door, bloody dead rabbit in the lingerie drawer, and violent scenes from Fatal Attraction looping endlessly on the VCR: bad jealousy.

No freakin way do I deal with jealous womenz. They are a breed of wrathful beast I have had my fill of and find very unattractive...unless of course the look like Brook Burke then all bets are on...

    Sincerely,

A lil bit of Jealously is good:

Last night i was with my hubby and we was visiting some friends and my old boyfriend was there and he starting flirting so my hubby said: "stop looking at my woman like that" it was all in good fun, we all laughed about it, but i would have rather him notice the behavior and say something than to act as if it didnt matter to him at all.

when he looks at an attractive woman it doesnt bother me as long as it doesnt go beyond that....
