    I need some help.

I've been vegitarian for about two months now. (O...whoopy...)

    Okay...so my delima:

    1) I'm tired of food that is made up of small particulates (i.e. rice, orzo, beans, etc.)

    2) I?m tired of eating things that have a subtle sweet taste (i.e. veat (yes I was desperate!), teriyaki marinated tofu, etc.)

    3) I?m tired of eating mush (lentils, oatmeal, etc.)

So without suggesting spaghetti or eggs:

Do you have any great savory, vegetarian main dishes?

I'll eat meat right after I am able to kill it.

Things to do in the near future:

    1. Go fishing

    2. Learn to Hunt

    till then....

veggie pad thai or tofu curry? there are a lot of delicious thai and korean dishes that are savory and might hit the spot when you're craving something "meaty". morningstar farms makes great fake sausage patties and burgers. I make veggie biscuits and gravy with it and it seriously rocks.

    Carnivorously speaking ...

I don't know any vegi dishes that I would describe as 'tasty' ... the closest I can think of is sea food. Can't vegetarians eat shellfish?

Why do vegans always try to re-invent meat? Fake hotdogs and burgers, tofu turkey etc. good gawd!

Meat is just veggies on the hoof.

Veggies aren't food, veggies are what food eats!

Reminds of people on Weight Watchers always trying to eat tons and tons of low calorie crap like cheese cake and ice cream and chocolate- damn you need to change what you "want".

OK OK I'm kidding... just a small omnivorous rant. lol
