Hey doodlev - hope you and hubby are doing well. Miss you folks!
I used to work for Diner's Club (before the internet, cell phone help lines etc) and would frequently get calls from friends - Hey, I am in Hermosa Beach, where should I got for dinner? lol
In Kihei Maui - Sansei for sushi, Roys or Nicks for seafood, Longhis in Wailea for great food, bar in open air atmosphere.
Seafood on eastside in Seattle - Third Floor Fish Company
Wine bar - great food - Purple Cafe in Woodinville and Kirkland
By the way - love El Gaucho. About the best steakhouse and service I have experienced - have been there several times, and a couple of anniversaries. One of those, "dining" experiences vs just going out to dinner! lol

I didn't think PF Changs was any more than North China. Probably depends on who you go with.
You may be right there. When we were in Boca, we were guests of friends who spent a lot.
The only other one I've been in, was in Las Vegas. We left because after looking at the menu on the wall, we realized it was way over our budget. But then, it was Vegas too.
