His "name" comes to represent what he stands for
If you read the I.S. book, you will find they explain what a "name" means in the same way you explained it in your post, yet they apply it different in action. If the name was THAT important, they should use the name Yahweh as they have admitted is the PROPER pronunciation. See NWT Large edition in the forward.

Yes I got to thinking after I left the JW, Jesus didn't mean he came to make the obscure name Yahweh know, but what Yahweh represented as a God. Makes much more sense.
