Have been away for a while so have only just read your post. My heart goes out to you. But in your despair it is still encouraging to hear that you never want to be a witness again. One day, I hope that your daughter will remember that you were there for her when she needed you.

None of us escapes the cult of Jehovah's witnesses without wounds and trauma. Some suffer less, some suffer untold misery as a result of the wickedness of the policy of shunning disfellowshipped folks. I have suffered hardly at all from the disfellowshipping, but at the same time lost a son as result of the blood policy just over 3 years ago. Its hard when family wants to be in that garbage. They don't listen to any kind of reasoning. One day they may well regret it but it may be too late to undo the harm they have caused. Hope your daughter will wake up to what nonsense it all is.
