Some people sell things at or around cost and actually make their money on the postage.
Always check the postage cost and add it to the price you are bidding (mentally) so you know what you will be paying. That £20 bargain isn't such a bargain if you have to add about £20 to get it ... it's often cheaper overall to buy from Amazon or somewhere else that offers free shipping.
