LOL...this one kills me. AGAIN this year brothers had to walk the halls carrying signs that said "QUIET PLEASE" Everyone just ignores these poor embarrassed brothers. The assemblay is going on and yet the halls are full of ppl walking, visiting, cruisin'.

WAKE up BORG!!! PPL are BORED and sick of being expected to sit for hours and listen to the same old crap over and over and over just with different speakers using a varient of the words. Lets get some crowd waves going every hour, some free prizes thrown into the audience, a indoor blimp dropping free food, coffee being sold up and down the stairs.....the borg must be the least creative organization on the planet.

Can you take someone with you and videotape it? It's been years since I've seen someone escorted out of an assembly.

Jez, didn't you know that those cruisin' the halls are not just bored, but they are "spiritually weak and immature"? They are there as Satan's tools to test and destract those with godly devotion from partaking of the fine spiritual banquet the F&DS has provided through Jehovah.

I admit it. I was one of those dumb MSs that stood around holding a "quiet" sign.

But it did have its advantages. Remember it was the "weak" ones who wandered the halls during the sessions. That meant packs of younger ones wandering around. In these packs were hotties who dressed to impress and wanted to be noticed. I obliged them by watching them closely each time they walked by.

If your going to be there, you have your options

    1. Walk the halls because you're bored to death

    2. Sleep at your seats

    3. Continue asking yourself why why why do I continue to come to these comatose events and continued to be tortured by the sheer boredom of this crap.

    4. GET THE HELL OUT OF THERE

This year I saw the dumbest thing yet with regard to these QUIET PLEASE signs.

They had attendants carrying them around during the lunchtime intermission - a full 20 minutes before the music started. Do they really expect people to be quiet during lunchtime too now?

This past summer was my first summer not attending a convention. It was GREAT, but my sisterinlaw told me all about it and the QUIET signs. They could only afford to go for 2 days, they have a bunch of kids, so with hotel, food, and gas she said they blew about $500. I felt sorry for them bec they have no money as it is. If it is such a loving organization, then why not provide a video of the assemblay for families that can not afford to go?
