Moosehead reports theft of more than 50,000 beers
SAINT JOHN, N.B. (CP) - New Brunswick-based Moosehead Breweries is asking people to be on the lookout for thousands of cans of "El Cerveza Cabeza de los Alces." More than 50,000 cans of Moosehead Lager destined for a Mexican supermarket chain were stolen early this week.
The truck carrying the beer from Fredericton to Toronto was discovered empty and abandoned in Grand Falls, N.B., on Tuesday.
