That's my mother, dad was Charlie. Joe was the barber. Ralph refurbished furniture. We both did a stint with him. The gloves, the brushes, the paint remover and hordes of yellow jackets under the bois d'arc tree. Steel wool, sand paper and the never ending battle over the radio, those were the days.
You wrote a very moving account. The essence of what being a Witness does to one's life.I've often thought about you over the years, where you were, what you were doing. Good to see your alive.

Ever talk to Harry?
I use to meet with Johnny once a week for lunches. I haven't heard from him in about two months.
Don't be a stranger. I love you, man.

Thanks, DP for sharing this wonderful story from your site. Terry is a very cool, intellectually astute individual and also writes some very beautiful music!! He was gone from JWD for awhile, like some of us do, and I've recently noticed him posting again...........welcome back, Terry!
The "other" Terri (y) on the board
p.s. I am sooo happy that you have met your old friend, Quincy.....how cool is that?
"Isnt it wonderful when frriends find each other again !!!!! This is very heartwarming to me an oldie Bless you both" Very true. Yes Sunny, Terry is a very talented musician and artist, always has been. It's a natural gift, one that takes some folks years to achive. We had a good phone conversation last night. It's what makes boards like this valuable. The ability to re-connect. "...the Network, by the intimate connection of its several parts, denotes Unity."

Awesome quote, Quentin..........makes me think of the native american saying: "mitaku oyasin"......we are all related..........there is an old n.a. story that tells of Grandmother Spider who wove the web and created the world.............interesting that we now have the "internet", with it's websites, etc...........fascinating to think their old stories may have forseen the "interconnectedness" via the world wide "web".

Hi Sunny(bunny)girl,
Good to hear from you.
Thanks for your kind words.
Yes, I'm shocked I actually FOUND a person I've tried and tried to find to no avail.
Thanks to JWD for that.
Stay in touch, Sunny

There are probably many black widows out there who would agree.
(Badd-bing)
But, seriously folks...............
The true potential of the Internet hasn't been fully tapped in the least.

LOL........same cute sense of humor, too! I'm so happy for you two! I only hope something nice like that can happen to more of us.............I was missing some dear friends very much earlier today..........I even posted about them on Dansk's missing family thread.
I'll keep in touch...............there! Tag, you're officially it!
