I wonder if this information could help with the molestation cases to demonstrate agency, and therefore make the WTS liable for the actions of the elders.
Right now the WTS argues in court that they have no control over the elders and that the elders are acting on their own... the fact that the WTS can move in and replace an entire body of elders that does not follow instructions seems like agency to me.

I saw somene recently post a portion of the instructions given to elders, first thing they are told to do is call the legal dept.

Yes we had many here. In the late 70's they removed ALL of the Elders in our hall and disolved the entire congregation due to wife swapping. In the 90's the same thing happened a bunch of Elders were removed and the congregation was split, I dont know why but it wasnt because of wife swapping that time. Shortly before I left my new congregation was again split, elder's removed and not too long afterwards the PO was DF'd for having an affair with another man's wife. After I left again it happened with a different PO, the same PO who hit on me in the parking lot after my judicial meetings. It happens, men in a position of authority think they're the exception to certain rules.
I remember a whole congregation in Middletown Ohio in the early 1980's was deleted and there was always a bunch of hush hush talk whenever the subject was brought up. What they were deleted for, who knows? apostasy? maybe

When my family moved back to New Mexico, the entire Taos congregation's elder body was removed. Whatever happend, happened before we moved back, and my dad, who was an elder there before we moved to Northern California took over everything. When the CO finally made it up there, my dad was installed as an elder. He basically ran the show until a former Bethelite and his wife moved up there.
The whole situation was bad, as right in the middle of all this happening, the congregation was right in the middle of planning a quick build Hall. My dad was under so much stress form all this that he, for the first time that I ever remember, didn't go to a meeting because he was exhausted. This is a guy that would have to be on his death bed to miss a meeting.

In the U.S. the End is now underway:
District, Circuit and Presiding Overseers know the organization is in danger of collapse so are wanting reforms that the worldwise Governing Body members refuse to grant. The GB hoped that forming new corporations would protect their assets but now see that is not necessarily the case, plus the elders know that they as elders can also be sue over their carrying out the GB's child molestation policy. Once informed the better elders and regular members are cutting off monetary donations.
There is much fear in the organization also over elders being told to cover up for and shut up about fugitive murderers, invasions of privacy, threats against and the harrassment of current and ex-members, so forth. In some areas elders are using their mailing lists of other elders to contact them with their concerns although not giving their own actual names or return addresses as the sending elders.
The GB is responding with more harrassment, disfellowshipping, deletion from elder bodies and committees. In turn the GB can expect more elders and non-elders to turn on them revealing things they have been told, mailing incriminating copies of Judicial Committee items to Bill Bowen of silentlambs.org and the like.
