Thanks for the address it is perfect! THANKS MAN!! I am soo happy!!
This is how we met
She came to Texas one day and i say her and was like wow she is hot. We talked for a long time i got her number and so on and so fourth. I fell in love with her then she told me that she has to go back to Austrailia but we can email and chat. So that is what we are doing now. We plan to meet again in the future.
Ok all you people giving me sh*t about joining please shut your face. I will join and that is it. I don't need your input i just need help on finding one. Yeah i did read about it and i enjoy what i have heard about it. Let me judge for myself if it is right for me. It is not right for you to push your thoughts off on me when i am just looking for help. OK
Well if you people can not help me then can you send me some where that can?? and i have a question for all those who don't like JW why don't you like it? Please tell me. It seems that your anger with them is deep and i would like the know the source of your pain and anger.
Huh? This does not compute...

what?
Daniel:
You are right, you should decide for yourself if the Witnesses teach the truth or not. I am a real Witness and enjoy being part of Jehovah's people.
Most of the people in this site are ex-witnesses and really hate the organization. It is unwise to listen to their negative comments. It's as if you were applying for a job and the employer wants to know your references in order see what kind of person you are. Would you give them a reference of a person that hates your guts? Of course not because it is biased and will probably exagerate anything that you've done in the past. No, the employer would want to hear from impartial folks that will give a true assessment of your abilities and personality.
It is the same in this case. The enemies of Jehovah's organization will not give any positive input. Study with Witnesses, ask questions, try to be logical and you will learn a lot about Jehovah's purpose and doing his will.
If you have any questions feel free to email me.
Thanks for your input it means a lot. :D
Hi Daniel. RUN as fast as you can, in the other direction. You have no idea what you are getting yourself into. It is a destructive cult, like no other I have ever seen. They are quick to tell you it isn't a cult, but it definitely is one. A book I recommend is by Steven Hassan, called Combatting Cult Mind Control. You should be able to buy it at any Christian book store.
You also need to get a book that tells you some of the main JW beliefs, and things they do NOT believe or participate in. One thing a strict JW will not do, is date and marry a non-JW. I assume this is why you want to become one.
The reasons we left are multiple, and complex, and have to do with their teachings not being Bible based, as they convince you they are. The history of the organization is tainted, which taints the whole thing. "rotten apple......barrel".........you know the analogy.
I hope this has answered some of your questions. Yes, we are bitter and angry, because all of us are damaged, and many of us raised our children in this thing, so damaged them too. Don't do it!!!
Edited to correct spelling.
Hey Daniel:
One more question: if you were curious about the Scientologists, would you base a decision on whether or not to join them entirely on their own literature and viewpoints?
If you are to make an impartial decision, it is necessary to get input from impartial people. Obviously, neither exjw's or current jw's are impartial. You will. in fact, find it difficult to find impartial (that is, written by people unaffected by the Watchtower) information on the WT, since it is such a small group in global terms.
In the real world, to make an objective decision on this kind of thing, it will therefore be necessary to consider input from both sides. Otherwise the measuring scales in your mind will be unable to make a balanced decision.
It is entirely your decsion at the end of the day. As humble's post illustarates it is an important decision, since if you become a JW, you will be required to view those who disagree with the society's teachings as enemies, including any family and friends who do so. In conclusion, though, remember that such a important decision should not be based on a one-sided input. In future, should people who are not completely impartial discourage you from gaining information, you may wish to consider why this is so.

the choice is yours Dan, its your life and whatever you choose I
hope you find happiness, all I would suggest is you research
what youre getting into very carefully, the example by humble was very
good and it works both ways, you could say that exjws are biased against just as easily as saying jws are biased for,
would you really sign any binding contracts that could affect the rest of your life without reading the small print?
