Do you know the Prakers? Joey was my friend. His father was a servant, and his mother ran off with an elder. As a kid it was pretty cool. I went to Joey's after the Sunday meetings and he showed me where the elder's hands pitted the yard grass after his father decked him. He also showed me his mother's long flowing black hair in the trash can. Joey's father, Joe, held her down on the sofa and cut her hair with sissors. Told her if she was leaving the family, she wasn't takin' the hair. Joey also had a little sister.
