What is it with teenage girls these days?

It seems that every other one I speak with lately has this compulsion to announce "I'm bi!" at every available opportunity.

    Are they really becoming bi-sexual?

Or are they just coming to terms with their own sexuality?

Or is it just a fad, a fashion, a sort of "must have" accessory?

    I'm confused.

    Again.

Being "bi" is fashionable these days. Several of my daughter's friends have told her this...at the same time...they've never been with another girl...with the exception of a few kisses.

One wonders at the context of these conversations....I mean do they just randomly insert in everyday conversation "I'm bi"?

"Hello, nice day we are having"

"Yes it is, and I'm bi"

    or

"How much do these cucumbers cost?"

"I don't know, let me check, oh and I'm bi"

*sigh* why doesn't this stuff ever happen to me????

    btw englishman.....I'm bi

Almost! Most times you get a sort of " It's so nice to talk to you. My parents are being very difficult with me because I'm bi".

"How much do these cucumbers cost?"

Whatever it is, just don't slice 'em. I'm not a bloody slot machine!

    I know.

I do think its kind of fashionable to say, in most of those cases I would suppose it would be for the male reaction since a lot of men have fantasies of two women together. Other than that, more young people feel free to explore who they really are sexually. They will not all remain in the bi category, by any means. Most will marry and remain heterosexual, a few will probably always consider themselves bi, and a few will understand that they are not attracted to men at all and are using this bi (more acceptable) term to mask the fact that they are lesbians.

Not anything to worry about, I'm sure. Good for the girls for being open about it.

You're right, Eman! Last night Mrs Ozzie and I were watching "The Bill" and look what's happened to the nympho detective sergeant. Last year she laid the super in the ladies' restroom. Last night she started snogging with the newly arrived lesbian cop who likes to wear the leathers!

We don't know where we are these days! Well, I do, but I don't know about the others!!!!

    Cheers, Ozzie

    Why, that's preposterous!

Now that I have registered my indignation, please send over these confused young girls, two-by-two... or should I say two-bi-two, just as outlined in the scriptures.

Send them over to my apartment, in pairs, and I'll get to the bottom of it... or them...;)

i met 2 girls out in town the other week. one of them said to me, "we're gonna make your night", and they started kissing each other. they both stopped and the girl asked me, "did you like that?". i said, "well, it's a start", she then proceeded to kiss me. she obviously couldn't help herself.

How about saying '2 bi 4's' (large wood objects we 'do' stuff with, i.e. build cat houses, etc.) like we do in Texas. x
