Me and my brother recently got into a discussion about the 1,000 reign
Hey Joiliette why dont you tell your brother the truth and inform him that the 1000 reign is just fictional mythology expressed by ancients who wanted to make their god powerful righteous and relevant.
the 1000 years will be like life in Venezuela after socialism or life after the bolshevik revolution in Russia or maybe like Zimbabwe

(IMO, anyone who denies this is either hopelessly naive, or lying.)

@ Finklestein: He doesnt believe that its mythology or that its symbolic, he believe that its literally going to happen.
And something that jws like to forget is that the WT teaches that people won't start to become perfect untill after the 1000 years... after! So people will still be disabled, ill, die and be imperfect and so yes very prone to making a mistake that would get them killed for ever.

Ah, the idea of JWs running their own country. It's a good thing that we're not writing this in Russian. Russia has both the history doing those sorts of things, the elbow room, and currently the political inclination. They did it to the Jews with Birobidzhan, so I don't see why they couldn't do it to the Dubs. They make good use of internal passports in that country.
