I'm using this format with a faculty party:

Entry fee ($30-70...depends who wants in): Chips from 50 cent amounts.

Texas Hold 'em, Seven Card Stud, Straight Draw and Three-card Sweat (No minimum hands...sorry, XW, but garbage hands and bluffing are part of the game)

Dealer's Choice on the prelim tables. half-dollar antes. $5 limit on the first 20 hands (to make sure no one goes out too fast). After that, No Limit..."I'm all in!"

final table is Hold 'em only with a neutral dealer...The Cadillac of Poker.

Purse divided among the top finishers (depending on how many play)

Valis: My Indian Casino can't hold many people (outside of the stray amourous apostababe), so I'll have to find someone with a real place.

I haven't a clue how to play poker.. so don't count me in there.. No doubt I'd lose my pants to you guys.. (or should I say panties?)

but as for the food options.. Vallis I am fine with whatever. I will likely not eat enough to care about getting the 'unlimited plate', however there is so little difference in money that what is a few dollars.. I care more about the liquor any way.. and it sounds like I can even bring in what I want.. (right?)..
