Remember those pesky scriptures about 'put faith in Jesus and you will be saved' & 'getting baptized without delay'? Well, In This Time of the End ™ we know better, and the latest March 2020 Study Edition WT sums it all up:

Before you can get baptized, there are a few other things you need to do. As we learned earlier, you must dedicate yourself to God. Approach him in private, heartfelt prayer, and promise him that you will use your life to do his will. (1 Pet. 4:2) Then let the coordinator of the body of elders know that you want to get baptized. He will ask some elders to meet with you.
    . . .
They will review with you the basic Bible teachings that you have learned. They want to make sure that you understand those teachings and that you are aware of the importance of dedication and baptism. If they agree that you are ready, they will inform you that you can get baptized at the next assembly or convention.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO DO
    AFTER YOUR BAPTISM
Once you get baptized, what will you need to do?
    . . .
If you have not yet completed your study of the books What Can the Bible Teach Us? and How to Remain in God’s Love, you should continue studying with a Bible teacher until you finish both books.

Hey! Now we know what Acts 8:37 says!

Acts 8:36-38 in the current version of the Revised NWT:

36 Now as they were going along the road, they came to a body of water, and the eunuch said: “Look! Here is water; what prevents me from getting baptized?” 37* —— 38 With that he commanded the chariot to halt, and both Philip and the eunuch went down into the water, and he baptized him.

How it will appear in the 2021 Re-revised NWT:

36 Now as they were going along the road, they came to a body of water, and the eunuch said: “Look! Here is water; what prevents me from getting baptized?” 37* [and Philip said unto him: "let the coordinator of the body of elders know that you want to get baptized. He will ask some elders to meet with you. They will review with you the basic Bible teachings that you have learned. They want to make sure that you understand those teachings and that you are aware of the importance of dedication and baptism. If they agree that you are ready, they will inform you that you can get baptized at the next assembly or convention"]. 38 With that he commanded the chariot to halt, and both Philip and the eunuch went down [to the local Kingdom Hall to begin the months-long process to see if the eunuch really qualified].

The JWs and Christadelphians baptise into their doctrines. But in the Bible people are baptised and then assumably receive teaching

The wt will soon be adding psychiatric screening after the 100 questions are answered satisfactorily. The screening will weed out those who think they may one day want to be on the ever increasing 144,000 "class".

    just saying!

What a loving provision to have the GB tell you what you NEED to do to get baptized and what you NEED to do after you get baptized.

They'll tell you what God's will is so that you can ensure you will be giving up your life to do it. What they don't tell you is that the Watchtower decides what God's will is.

Where would they be without the Bible GB?

If they did that, nobody would be on the GB

Whatever happened to "The Truth That Leads To Eternal Life " book ? has it become an embarrassment to them for what`s contained in there?

That was a book you needed to be finished in 6 months to be baptised because the end was sooooo close back in the 1980`s ? or was it the 1970`s its hard to keep up with all of the changes Jehovah`s chariot makes without progressing anywhere anytime soon.

Sir82's post is soo damn funny and original...I just had to copy & paste it:
