I jumped to one conclusion a few years back on this board and it came back to bite me in the ass, I had to make a board wide apologia. Even though others like you who I respect the hell out of seem to be headed to the same conclusion I still hold out a sliver of openness. I just recently became aware of this issue and need to do some catching up. I haven paid that much attention to Cas since he has been on this board because I just saw him as a guy who was here to pick up chicks.
His speedy and systematic fall from grace, enlightenment to the dark side, instant involvement in covert operations at the highest level and his heart felt "I just got a divorce somebody please hug me" post after he spent countless hours in chat with young single women poster here just turned me off. I try not to get wrapped up in the bullshitters on the board like I use to. I'm only doing it now because it has been brought to my attention and was asked for my opinion. Until I read more I am holding to the slimming possibility that it may be nothing. After reading your and Xena's (who I also respect the hell out of) response to this thread that possibility is shrinking to a tattered thread.

This smells like bullshit.
I have set up several clients with web sites and e-mail service. The watchtower society owns the name watchtower.com. This can be confirmed by going to register.com and doing a search of any .com and finding out who owns it, when they bought the name, and who the person in charge of setting up the account is. No one can register that name or use it to set up any kind of "prank site" as Cas alludes to. It is impossible.
When setting up e-mail accounts you add the names of the people who are to send and receive mail through that account. The only way to set up an account with that specific .com is to add their name to that specific account. No one can fake a .com e-mail address to a specific registered .com
I don't think because of the fear of severe repercussions that the web master at the watchtower would set up a name J.God@ watchtower for a prank or to use to mess with people. No one else can send a message from that address unless they have access to their server and can add their name to their e-mail list. They would also need the password to get into the account. I know hackers can hack e-mails and get passwords but for a JW to do that to the watchtower society simply to mess with exJW's is extremely unlikely. I'm sure the watchtower also has a very sophisticated firewall to protect them from such things and would add to the highly unlikely possibility of Cas getting the e-mail he said he did. If any of you with more advanced hacker knowledge than I have can prove me wrong I would appreciate it.
I clicked on the e-mail link Cas provided and it came back as undeliverable because of no such name at that address. That means there is no J.God at watchtower.com and the possibility of Cas getting the message he says he got is highly unlikely and reeks of bullshit.

Wouldn't someone who claims to be in law know where they can get legal advice, especially free?
Now I'm starting to feel like shit doing this but I do have to say this whole thing looks very fishy.
Iv read all the post by Cas's sister and most of them are about how great Cas is. That is except for the thread that was talking about his dick injury. I have a sister who I am very close to and she thinks I'm great but she dosent talk about my dick. Some of the things his sister says seems to be a bit out of line. If you read through her posts they are about 90% Cas worship.
I need to get back to work and stop playing on the internet. Iv taken this little adventure to check this out about as far as I feel comfortable doing.
Mt suggestion is if Cas wants to clear any suspicion about who he is and what his intentions truly are on this board, he should meet someone from this board that lives in his area, in person who other posters know and trust. He seems to avoid that.
I felt like I was on a witch hunt doing this but there were too many oddities to ignore. For those of you that have suspicions I think your questions are well founded and it is now up to Cas to prove them wrong.
If he is just playing a game here then there is no harm. If he is causing trouble with other posters with his fabrications then maybe something needs to be done about it. It is not my call and Iv seen enough to think this is strange enough to be looked at deeper and hopefully resolved.
If he is who he says he is and is doing what he says he is doing then he is a major asset to this board. If not, he is just a big scammer and is trying to make fools out of all of us. Id hate to see that, but it wouldn't be the first time it has happened here.
