    Snowbird, Good morning sunshine!

Happy birthday to that granddaughter of yours. My first experience with a granddaughter's birthday will be when she is born sometime early Oct. So exciting.it is also my niece/goddaughter's birthday today.

Looks like another soggy day here today. We shall see. I might go out and get a plastic kayak/canoe from Sam's for my daughter so she can navigate the yearly creek we get to have in our back yard ( true wetland) , that actually flows into the feeder creek/stream for the lake nearby.

    Good mid-morning, Non.

We are under a severe weather watch.

Storm clouds rolling in from the West all morning.

    Blech.

Believe me, I know all about soggy yards.

    Hi, TD.

Every time I see your letters, TD, I smile because it takes me back to when I worked for the County Health Department.

One particular division was known by the acronym *TD.

The director of that division had such a calm, soothing voice that it was an absolute pleasure to field his calls.

20+ years later, I can still hear him, "This is B**** L*********, *TD."

    I'm smiling right now.

    Love.

    Sylvia
