Hey, there!
7:37 a.m., California.
Sunny and warm -- at last! A wet, wet winter (some 100 inches of rain and 200% of normal average snowfall. It's as green as -- Alabama?

Very green down in Dixie Land.
Went for a short walk, and just marveled at the verdant landscape.
Would have gone farther, but people let their dogs roam freely here.
Some are friendly, others are not.

Be careful, Sylvia!
In my gated community we have strict regulations re: leash control and clean up after one's pooch. Still, there are some incidents. I walk dogs as part of my living -- oh, you know that!
BTW, I teach creative writing to a bunch of senior citizens, and a point we discussed was the origin of "Dixie." Are you familiar with the derivation of the word?

This tablet will not load pages and do copies as my laptop did.
Don't get me wrong; I appreciate my g'son's gift, but sometimes this little baby drives me crazy.

Yes, the two-faced $10 bill, from LA, I believe.
Re: electronics -- newer is not always better, especially for us who, initially, had enough trouble getting into our now old but once new laptops. My two get me by, but one is so outmoded as to its becoming less and less usable.

Whenever, Miz Shirl, is a good time to hear from you.
Reminds me of an old lady who would always say, "It's a pretty day ain't it?" no matter the weather.
I can still see her now, 46 years later, at her woodpile with a huge smile on her face.
