The Bible itself contains 100 x 100 contradictions. I have been listen to Prof. Bart Ehrman sometimes and and his lectures are mind blowing. Here is an link to´one of his lessons:

Unfortunately JWs are not allowed to listen to this...

    Amy Watson,

If you need the JW answer to the question, then here it is:

But can you wake up someone who is sleeping in death?— No. No matter how loud you call, the one who is dead will not hear. There is nothing that you or I or any other person on earth today can do to wake the dead.

But Jesus is different. He has special power from God. So when Jesus calls Lazarus, an amazing thing happens. The man who has been dead for four days comes out of the cave! He is brought back to life! He can breathe and walk and speak again! Yes, Jesus raises Lazarus from the dead.—John 11:1-4

I don't think the dead can hear but I do think they can speak. Doesn't it seem like the gb hears Russell, Rutherford, Knorr, and mad Freddy talking to them from the grave. I think they can hear them saying,

"Keep up the phony bullsh*t religion--it's a great gig. Oh, and sorry guys that we didn't prophecy that the damn internet would ruin our printing empire!"

    just saying!
