tash...it makes sense...the only thing i remember talking about not long ago with someone that atm everything is going wrong and they made a joke i was cursed...and it sort of stuck in my head for a few days..I remember answering back to them that nah Jehovah was prob. punishing me for leaving the org...but it was said in jest...thats the only thing i can think of atm...

sens, I'm coming in late to this thread, but yes, there is therapy for this. Demons are not real, in my humble opinion, but they are appearing in your dreams for a reason. I believe that the demons are the coninued hold the society has over you in terms of what you fear for the future. The wts is a very fear based religion. They use demons to scare you and intimidate you from wanting to be a part of the "world." They tell all these tales about how demons scare people back into the "truth" and they want you to believe that living your life in the "world" will cause you terror and anxiety. If you release the hold they have over your belief system by seeing their truths crumble one by one to careful scrutiny, it will become easier to see that these demons are just an illusion. Sometimes we think we have done this, and there is still some element of belief in there somewhere that we have missed.
It never ceases to amaze me what a powerful thing the mind is. Sometimes you believe these things (superstitious things) so strongly that they can actually cause things to happen. Case in point the people who die from being cursed, scared to death.
I remember one time my cousin and I were at her sister's house. Her sister was married to an unbeliever and we happened to know there was an Oijia board (sp?) in the house. We were terrified. We kept talking about it and then you know we would hear a noise or something and almost wet our pants. We were sitting in the kitchen and she had one of those old fasioned tables like they had in 50's diners, with the silver chrome around the edges. There were two glasses sitting on the table, turned over upside down like someone set them there after washing them. Suddenly they started to move across the table.
We ran screaming out of the house and tried to leave in her car. She lived on a farm. The car was out of gas so we put some in from a tank. We got less than two blocks away and the car stalled and all this smoke came out of the exhaust. The tank was filled with diesel not gas. The glasses moved because of water trapped underneath.
I know you can get over this!

and omg @ ouija story...those things scare me stupid...its like tarot cards...I seen some in a shop window and i just freaked out...I have this HUGE hangup about all of that stuff...Im scared stupid of it!!

Although, you may have thought it was said in jest, all humor is a way to soften or communicate "truths". I think this is a very real fear. As Gretchen said, many fears are instilled in us as JW's. But don't forget there is also a "double-think" with the JW's. If you leave and bad happens, that's Jehovah withdrawing his spirit... If you leave and good happens its only because satan has you in his "snare" (material, immoral, etc). It happens even when you're a good witness - if you have problems in the "truth" Jehovah may have withdrew his spirit due to secret sin or you're being tested... If its good, you're being "Blessed" from Jehovah.
It sounds like you are experiencing problems in your life right now that may seem overwhelming or a "punishment" from God.
Anyhoo, I'm not an analyst (although right now I'm pretending!!!! - hey, I might make a good elder with all this "counselling")... but I do believe in dreams being a way to work through life's problems and issues. Is there anyway in your dream you could defeat the demon? What does it do?

I think you really need to think about the dream... I don't think you like to (fear, brings back the feelings) because you haven't described it yet.
"Knowing" and "feeling" are two different things - so you know mentally that the WTBTS is bs, but do you "feel" it? Part of you doesn't. Funny the demons have "teeth". Mine were almost like gargolyles, and when they could fly I almost sh*t-my-pants!
You'll find a way to face and defeat them. Once you do, you'll move on to other bad dream senerios

Those beliefs are part of the cult brainwash, hon... I had to remove the old beliefs from myself.
I take courses to change my old beliefs into something functional and happy ... beliefs that works for me...
A happy life apart from the dubs is do-able ...

ok...the last one went like this...I was in this old church...and I could hear all this screaming and etc outside...so i went out and all these mutant (lol) little weird freaky demons were all around the place...I remember trying to scream out to Jehovah but I couldnt...then I remember I said ''Jesus Christ'' in a cursing sense and they bolted...anyway..they came back and i was in this car..in the back seat and the driver of the car wouldnt turn around and I said ''who the **** are you? and he looked around and it was satan. and all he said was ''well well well...look who we have here..didnt take u long did it?''
The other dreams have been similar only a little more intense than that...trying to posses me etc...totally weird s**t.

Thanks - that is one freaky dream. There is definately a parallel with your dream and what you jokingly said to your friend. You are now "worldly", belonging to "Satan"... this is a belief that you've lived with all your JW life on looking at those who left the "truth".
Was your inability to "call out to Jehovah" based on non-belief or because you feel you turned your back on him, and can't call on him when you need it. (Don't forget this is about feeling, not knowing).
Funny, though that they scattered when you said "Jesus Christ" , how would this be connected?
One good thing, is that you're not in a totally helpless situation. You can talk to Satan. Ask him some questions. Try this conscientiously - "take you long to do what?", wait for his answer - If he says "to join us" , respond with a question "What do you mean, live my life?" ; if he says "God's punishing you and you now belong to him" - ask him "Do all of JW's not have problems?"... some of the answers may not be what you assume it to be. Satan in your dream may not be prepared to answer your questions and thereby you can defeat him. Or tell him its all BS... you could try opening the car door, or crawl out of a window.
Think of a senerio that will allow you to defeat them. Tell yourself if you have this dream you will do this and it will defeat them. You may need to do it a few times, but it works. I've done it numerous of times in different dreams, especially the repetative ones.

lol..that was so freaky...
and when i tried to call on Jehovah it was like nothing would come out...but when i was shocked and said ''Jesus Christ'' yer i dont get that either...I do still believe Jehovah is there...Im just up and down in what I believe atm .... Confused actually....
but...my mother has been going on about how now she also prays to Jesus after hearing some ex dub experiences on a ministry site for xjw...so yer maybe that is related to it..I had said to her the other day that I dont believe he even listens anymore...
but the whole satan thing...has thrown me for a total six.
