There is so much bullshit here, sens, it just keeps piling up and up and up.

your right...because it doesnt seem to end...

and no...I cant imagine Jesus nagging people to death...because all he said that was needed was belief...and u are saved...If only I clicked to that years ago...I wouldnt have stuffed up my life as I have...I wouldve left it behind earlier ...

    I dont know anymore....

    sens,

The important thing here is not to let your old life get you down... you need, and we all need to look ahead and forget that b.s. When we can't take those nagging thoughts in our head, come here, to the voice of reason.

True, you could go to a witness to get an answer... they would only blab about the bible and give you the usual scriptual crap that they vomit out like robots.

Remember, that Jesus said that all would know his followers if they have love amongst themselves. Which organization has the least love amongst themselves? I dare any person on this planet to show the that the witnesses are the most unloving bunch of people on the face of the earth.

They are self-rightcheous (I know, b/c I was one..).. we used to laugh about calls, thinking that getting people pissed off at us was funny. Pretty sick behavior. What ever happened to "love thy neighbour?"... what about letting pedophiles into congregations where the very children he molested are in there...

"no natural affection" and "Scribe and Pharisees" are terms that I use for them. They are people with very low self-esteem and lots of hate. I shall never ever forgive nor forget what they did to me. I am not bitter... just sorry. Sorry that I fell for it, and sorry that I treated people in the community like corpses. How sick!

((((shamus)))) yer i totally agree....and i remember how they use to say ''oh well see what happens'' when something would happen to a df or da one...like it was some type of punisment...

    now that person is me

    Yes, sens.

Also remember, that everything is a "Test". Even if you are wrongfully Df'd and went to meetings for 40 years and was never re-instated, you still would be being "tested". Whatever... whatever, whatever, whatever.

How many people in Jesus day were disfellowshipped? Where in the bible does it say disfellowship? I sure saw no signs of it in the bible... except for one scripture that says to quit assosiating with anyone called a brother who is an idolatrer or adulterer, or whatever. The big thing there is someone CLAIMING to be a brother, not someone who is sorry for they're wrongdoings. There were no judicial committee's, except for a bit about talking about circumcision... that's it. Not going into people's sex lives and talking about when they mastrubate, how often, where, and all the typical nonsense.

    OMG, they are so sick.

Doesn't this realization make you feel free, sens?

Then, sens, you need to keep asking questions and getting answers.. you need to get that total mindset out of your head.. so to speak. You need to get deprogrammed. Once you do, you will be free... don't worry. It will come.

    Sens, you have a PM.

I did believe in him. At one point, however, I simply screamed out "F*** You Jehovah, I dont f***ing care anymore, kill me now, i'm begging you!" Im still alive. So there's no god IMHO.

Hardly anyone would answer that request. If God were malevolent, He would keep you alive to enjoy your suffering. If He were indifferent, he would ignore you. If He were benevolent, He would keep you alive to try to improve your mindset and your relationship with Him.

Ergo, in any case, the request to die is not rational and cannot be expected to be answered.

But isn't God, Jehovah God, the Old Testament Fire and Wrath Bugger, supposed to Smite on Demand?

Maybe the Bible is a lie... but that doesn't mean the God doesn't exist. What do you need from a God? That's where you'll find Him. Some people just need an uninvolved kind of Celestial Maintenance Man, and that's what they get.

Personally, I needed a King. And that's what I found.

Well that would be good yer...

Personally, I needed a King. And that's what I found.

    well ok then

Ergo, in any case, the request to die is not rational and cannot be expected to be answered.

Not even if one was in untreatable pain? or terminally ill? That seems somewhat unfair.

I have been reading a very interesting book lately, which talks about how one should pray.

Using bible scriptures, it shows that praying should not be begging. In fact, it should be positive. For example, when starting to feel sick, one should not pray, "Oh God, please don't let me get sick." It should be more like "God, please let me continue to feel good, and I know with your help I will feel even better."

I thought that was a very interesting view on how to pray, and it was backed up scripturely. Of course, for those of you who don't believe, it all doesn't matter anyways.
