Should we beg? I dunno... I saw a bumper sticker that said "Praying Is Begging". I couldn't agree more.

Dam rights, sens and benjamin. Benjamin does not believe in god... the jury is still out for me. I know that he has not answered my prayers to my knowledge... if he really cared, wouldn't he let us know? I mean c'mon already.
I like it when people pray for their favourite sports team to win. Or when people pray for their defence force to be kept safe. Or to keep you safe when travelling. I mean, if the maintenance dude at qantas didn't get a root last night, that plane isn't going to be kept up by divine force.

I @ one point asked for the same thing...but yer....i just dont care anymore...if He is listening or not.
If he did end it now for me, I really wouldnt care. After all...If the dubs are right...which deep down I know they arent...Im dead anyway...so He might as well...and with that being said...and they arent right...nothing will come from dropping dead anyway. Well the end of my bullshit existance maybe.

I know exacly where your mind is right now... we are very alike. I wouldn't care if he killed me now either. Wheras the Dubs have that song, "here I am send me".. if they were right, I would, without hesitation say "here I am KILL ME".
The god in the bible is one of love... that is one thing that I am certain of. If he is as the dubs make him out to be then he can just kill away.

one thing i never understood and never will is how they can sit and say ''oh Jehovah answered my prayer and sent me a bible study''.....
when people are dying of cancer...aids...etc....starving...and being murdered...

its the same with some of the born againer kinds....with their 'Jesus gives you only have to ask'' well...ok..tell that to the people dying after spending thousands at benny hinn crusades...and then being told they didnt have enuff faith...what crap.

If the witnesses were right, I would tell god, "well, I'm sorry god. I can't see why we all had to suffer just because you had to prove a point to this devil you speak of... so kill me. I don't care. " That does not sound reasonable of the god of the bible... he would not do that.
I don't know.. the more I think about these things, the more questions I have. God will just have to answer me when / if the time comes. Until then, I could care less. I have waited on him long enough.

It's a great board here, where we can discuss our feelings of this cult. How well they controlled me... I am in awe. I would go door to door and get yelled at all the time b/c I was OBVIOUSLY pissing people off with a message that was B.S. and was contrary to loving your neighbour... going back to the same houses, time after time, over and over again.
It's pretty discraceful when you think about how this religion has made a name for itself. Would Jesus go to his neighbour and nag him to death? Would he want his followers to do the same? Moses "preached" to those who would come by his ark and listen to him... but he sure as HELL didn't go door to door... like the WITNESSES SAY.
There is so much bullshit here, sens, it just keeps piling up and up and up.
