    1. The electoral college voted Trump in...not the greater 'people'

    2. Both Trump and H. Clinton are jokes - so this country would be embarrassed either way...neither one wouldve been the better choice.

    3. The fact that a mysogonistic narcissist was voted in, points a lot to the voice of those who feel the gov't is beyond repair AND that their voices havent been heard...and that is one group only at this point

It's not like Hilary was any better. Still evil, a narcissist, just a different agenda.

I'd feel a lot safer because the way I see it we are all narcissist to some degree it is when you has 65% of the traits is when it becomes a personality disorder and make a person subject to Narcissistic rage forcing the narcissist to do things not good for the country.

I see it as a real handicap for Donald and don't want to see his hand anywhere near a button to use nuclear weapons when he feels inclined or is going into a rage.

Trump is not going to start a nuclear war (ie Armageddon). He cares too much about his own interests to do that.

if it's not Jehovah ending the world, it's Trump, hasn't everyone had enough of this kind of crazy talk already?!?

Trump can and will do anything he wants to line his own pockets. The Rupukes will do nothing to stop him, with them it is party before country. All the ones who spoke against him as unfit during the election are now kissing his big orange ass. The idiots who claimed Obama was a Socialist are going to find out how they like living under a facist with Putin pulling his strings. It is embarrassing and scary to be an American now. As of January 20 we are flying our flag at half mast.

You guys do know that Hillary won close to 3 million votes more then Trump? The people spoke............ sorry the electoral college spoke.

Trump may serve for a year or two then he will probably quit. Or be impeached more then likely because of using his office to make money remember he prides himself as a deal maker. How is he going to resist making deals with other countries and US corporations.

He's going to be very distracted continuing to make business decisions on top of running the country. The chances for screw ups will increase until at some point he will 'decide' to resign to avoid impeachment.

    Sanchy,

Doesn't change the fact that he won through the democratic process.

So was Adolf Hitler until he destroyed Germany's democratic system.

    Brokeback Watchtower,

There has to be some safeguards in countries with nuclear weapons to limit a mad man access to them.

    Sanchy,

The "safeguard" is the democratic process

Nuclear arms are not launched with a vote from the people.

    just fine,

It's not like Hilary was any better.

Yes, she was, no matter how abysmal the choice was. Those who say that Trump was the lesser of two evils don't understand the meaning of the word evil. Those who simply couldn't tolerate neither could have voted for a third party or not voted at all. That would be morally better than enabling something evil.

As far as I am concerned there should be an extensive personality, knowledge, and IQ tests for any presidential candidate. You need far more qualifications to be a manager of a business than to be the President of the United States.

Trump is clearly a dangerous narcissist. I have no doubt about this whatever. If Trump at any point needs to choose between suffering damage to his ego or blowing up the planet it is not at all clear he could stop himself from blowing up the planet. Ego is so all consuming for narcissists that they will do absolutely anything to avoid loss of face.

But won't people around him stop him? Unfortunatley the system doesn't work like that. I heard a general explain that the exact protocol around nuclear decision making is classified, but the public should be in no doubt the system is designed for speed to carry out presidential orders, it is not designed for deliberation or debate.

Americans should have thought about this and voted accordingly. I don't know what can be done now other than cross our fingers and hope for the best. I am not optimistic about survival of the next few years if Trump is in charge. I guess the best hope is that he is arrested or impeached fairly quickly.

Democracy is a fine principle, and I'd support it almost all the time. But preservation of human life on the planet is also a worthy goal. And if it's a straight choice between upholding democracy or preserving the human species, then in this one instance, I'd vote for survival over democracy. The fear that this might set a dangerous precedent is not as great as the fear that this mad person will visit annihilation on the planet. When the mushroom clouds ascend what fool is going to say, "it's what the people wanted, we had to accept it."

Sorry VI but Hilary wasn't a better choice. I was in a evil cult for many years, so I do understand the word evil.

All the talk about blowing up the planet is fear mongering, much like the Watchtower does. Trying to instill a rabid fear of the future, unless we all join the Watchtower err I mean the anti-Trump movement.
