At the time the bible was written there were "bath rooms" but not the same thing as what we have. They were public baths where people would socialize while relaxing in hot water heated by fires in back rooms. They were very popular in Rome. So yes... they did go to bath rooms... and they went in Rome.
Toilet Paper is a fairly new invention compared to the length of human history. Bottom line: people just did not really "wipe" much in the past and when they did they used whatever what handy... plant leaves, cloth, paper, etc...
Adam and Eve are fictional characters in a mythological story. The story does not comment on race making race a moot point.
